If you pick one up on sale you will not be disappointed as this laptop is more than capble for 95+ % of macbook buyers. The only reason id say go pro is if you plan to multitask while doing intensive tasks like 4k video etiting.

It was hard finding the Starlight color with a good deal, but Best Buy had it in stock at some locations. It works extremely well for any student needing a laptop and it’s light enough to carry around.

This was a replacement for a 10 year old Macbook Air that is still going strong but can't update to the latest OS/X which is needed for MS Office. While it still has an M2 it's plenty powerful for what I need it to do. The price was just right!
