Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the MacBook Air's excellent performance, impressive battery life, and lightweight, portable design as significant strengths. Many appreciate its sleek aesthetics and the ample RAM. However, some users find the storage capacity limited and express concerns about the fingerprint susceptibility of the midnight color. A few also reported minor issues with screen quality and occasional overheating.

    Nice Little Typing Laptop

Let's keep this in mind before reading too much into my review: I'm a 33-year Windows veteran who hasn't used a Apple computer since the Apple IIe (let's not count my iPhone or iPad, okay?) and I've got to say... it ain't half bad. These MacBooks are solid chunks of aluminum with nice feeling keys and pretty okay software. The main thing Apple has been pushing is "it just works" which, for the most part (prior to Apple Intelligence) is true... provided you're already up to your knees in the Apple ecosystem AND you're okay with the fact that Apple likes to do things that make no sense except to their executive bean counters. So far, I really love USING this thing, or at least the physical act of it. Typing is pleasant, once you get used to the fact that Apple seems to think aesthetics are somehow more important than ergonomics. For example, no matter how "centered" they want to pretend this keyboard is, my hands do not feel centered at all. Also, the trackpad is centered within the width of the chassis, but the keys are NOT - basically because they never have been before. So your hands are not going to feel quite right if you're coming from a Windows machine to this Mac thing and you do a lot of typing. I was glad to get the 16GB model for a halfway decent price (relatively speaking - my Asus Vivobook with 20GB RAM and 1.5TB storage STILL cost less than this thing even after I built it up) but that's not why I bought this. This is mainly my writing laptop now, for social media and actual word processing. It'll get me around on the internet just fine, but I still prefer the wide-screen format of my 15" Asus. But aside from portability and the need for something more up-to-date than my old Ryzen-5 machine, I'm hoping that this is better with graphics and video and audio editing than my Asus. And I'm glad to see that I now have a single-port docking capability for a second monitor+power+USB for the times when I'm actually using this at my desk... a feature only my corporate Latitude 5540 could replicate before. But for all its physical density (this thing is thin and solid) the outer finish is slick and slippery. You're absolutely going to want to get a sleeve, or at least a vinyl skin, for carrying this thing around. I happen to have tons of space in my laptop bag, so this goes in there fine with my iPad and Asus and all the cables that go with them. But carrying this thing from room to room with one hand is a recipe for disaster, unless you actually prefer your laptops full of dents and scratches and Cheeto-dust. For the price you're paying for this, it would be worth every penny to at least give it some protection and slip-resistance.

Great Laptop. It is super quick and very probable. I have learned it super fast even after coming from windows and recommend it for everyone. It has been great for school and work along with just watching content and shopping. I will say fingerprints are bad and some mac related issues are annoying but definitely not a turn off. Would 100% recommend, also very nice screen that is perfect size.

I recently purchased the Apple MacBook with the M3 chip (16GB RAM, 256GB SSD), and I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. The M3 processor is incredibly fast and handles multitasking smoothly. I use it for coding, browsing, streaming, and productivity tasks, and everything runs without lag. The 16GB RAM makes a big difference when running multiple applications at the same time. Apps open instantly, and the system feels very responsive. The battery life is excellent — it easily lasts a full day on a single charge. The display is sharp, bright, and perfect for long working hours. The build quality feels premium and lightweight, making it easy to carry anywhere. Overall, this MacBook offers outstanding performance, efficiency, and reliability. I highly recommend it to students, professionals, and anyone looking for a powerful yet portable laptop.

This small and quick MacBook has become my go-to laptop for presentatoins and everyday work. It is smaller than I was used to, but this has not been distracting. It's slim size and light weight make it easy to tote to classes, and it was a snap to set up from my old MacBook. The battery lasts a long time, and its speakers are powerful enough to reacha classroom of students.

My daughter hasn’t put this MacBook down! At first she was a little intimidated by it because she was use to her Chromebook but once she got the hang of it, she can’t keep her hands off of it. The one thing that she loves the most is the battery life. She had to constantly charge her Chromebook but on her MacBook she can go days without it completely losing its charge.

Bought this for my wife to replace her 2018 MacBook Pro. This model of MacBook air is way faster than our old MacBook Pro. Also the keys, cámara, and touch id are improved. This color definitely looks better in person than on picture.

great laptop I wanted the MBP but I don't technically need it for my use. So I decided to save money and go with the MBA is sleek super nice and quiet. So much nicer when using it. Aswell as very quick I did a huge deep dive into which Mac to get and you don't need majority of the power that most of these laptops come with. M3 MBA is overkill and works great.
