I’ve used a lot of laptops over the years for both work and everyday stuff, and this MacBook Air with the M4 chip honestly surprised me in the best way. It feels like one of those rare upgrades where everything is just smoother without you having to think about it. Right away, the weight stands out. It’s incredibly light and thin, but it doesn’t feel fragile or cheap. The aluminum build is solid and clean, the kind of design that still looks professional whether you’re at a coffee shop or in a meeting. Throwing it in a bag feels like carrying a notebook instead of a computer. Performance is where it really shines. The Apple Inc. M4 chip is ridiculously fast for something this slim. Apps open instantly, multitasking is effortless, and even heavier tasks like photo editing or having a ton of browser tabs open don’t slow it down. It runs cool and quiet too — no loud fans spinning up all the time, which makes working on it feel calm and distraction-free. Battery life has been excellent. I can easily get through a full day without thinking about charging, which is huge for travel or long work shifts. The screen is bright and sharp with great colors, and the keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions. The trackpad is still the best in the business — super precise and satisfying to use. Overall, it feels polished in a way that most laptops just aren’t. Fast, portable, reliable, and just enjoyable to use every day. Whether you're coding for hours, attending virtual classes, or juggling assignments, its efficient M4 chip keeps everything running smoothly with incredible endurance. Base Model with 16gb of RAM: This ample RAM is particularly beneficial for students and programmers, allowing for seamless operation of multiple applications, such as code editors, compilers, and virtual machines, without slowdowns. The combination of the M4 chip and increased memory ensures a smooth and efficient workflow, making it an ideal choice for handling complex programming tasks and academic projects. M4 chip & Bench Marks: The base model MacBook Air with the M4 chip delivers a major performance boost, perfect for students and programmers. Works amazing however when it arrived it had a tiny ball once touching it seemed to be a manufactured mark for the price its upsetting but other than that works as it should.
