Great for traveling. As a photographer, going on 2 or 3 extended photo trips a year, I like to copy my images from the camera card onto a computer drive and then begin editing in Adobe Lightroom at the end of each shooting day. This MacBook Air is way more than adequate to the task. The M4 processor and the 16gb of RAM make the work go smoothly and quickly. Listening to music while I work, I am astounded at quality of the sound coming from the computer speakers. The rich, full sound belies their small size. The screen resolution is fantastic and the color rendition of my images lets me see details and gives me confidence to do the bulk of image and video editing on the road, as it were. Final Cut Pro runs smoothly on this for video editing. And, the price, at less than $900, makes it a great value. Thus, it is small, powerful and speedy, while looking and sounding good at a great price.

I also love how lightweight and portable it is, making it easy to carry around. The keyboard feels smooth, and the overall design is sleek and premium. It handles multitasking really well without lagging, and everything runs seamlessly.

I’ve been using this laptop for a while now and I’m honestly impressed. The performance is smooth and fast, especially for daily tasks, browsing, and light editing. The screen quality is excellent — bright, sharp, and very comfortable for long use. Battery life has been solid and lasts me through most of the day without needing a charge. This is definitely the best laptop I've bought. I came from a hp edge book that came out in 2018, this is both a hardware upgrade and a software. The switch from windows to MacOS is really smooth, and the all metal frame makes it just feel fantastic. I bought the midnight colorway and found it to be pretty fingerprinty... Id recommend the silver one if you want to avoid that. The screen is very nice, but I regret not buying the 15in, as I've found the screen to be very small at some tasks. Overall, definitely the best laptop at its price and amazing!!

This MacBook is perfect for college, the thinness of it is amazing, and it's so fast compared to my older Mac. Not to mention the battery life can last you days without having to plug the laptop in. Would recommend.

Love the deep blue color. Perfect fit for someone wanting to surf/zoom/store. The M4 chip is lighting fast. The Mac Air is now basically a Pro size wise which I prefer. It isn’t as thin. Great buy on sale for $799.

It was time for me to upgrade my computer, It was a reasonable price. I’m happy with how fast it is and how sleek it is. It is a bit heavy in my opinion but does fit in my purse. The battery life is also excellent.

Well, this was certainly worth the investment! Aside from a battery life that I wish was slightly longer, computer is highly efficient. Fast, wonderful display, and just an overall best computer for those looking to do smaller tasks (in my case that’s writing screenplays or answering emails)!

This MacBook is obviously lightweight, fast and with all the great Apple features. I purchased the Midnight color - probably should've gotten the gray - this one shows fingerprints.

Does everything I need with power to spare, and the battery lasts easily 8-9 hours with my use. Music recording, light video editing, etc. Fantastic little machine that’s easily portable and fits my needs.

Always been a Windows user and still am. However, if anyone is looking for a small and thin laptop for travel, I think this MBA is it. My current Windows laptop runs a little hot, even with the fan spinning while doing simple tasks. The MBA is fanless and runs completely cool when I use it. It never had stuttering issues in terms of performance for the simple task I do. The most intensive thing I use this MBA for is having tons of tabs and windows open or/and running DJ mixing software.

Absolutely love my new Mac laptop, and received 5+ service from the employee who helped me pick it out. I was using a 2015 model for 10 years that died my new laptop is thin has an incredible battery life and processes information quickly.

I was considering getting either the Surface or the ProArt, but ultimately, choosing the MacBook Air turned out to be a great decision for me. If the MacBook Air had come with 8GB of RAM minimum and needed to be upgraded, there’s a good chance I would’ve gone with ProArt instead which has more RAM and Storage. I’ve been using the MacBook Air for about a month now and have had no issues. The battery life is excellent, and it’s incredibly lightweight—perfect for me since I travel frequently for work. It really helps reduce the weight and clutter in my bag. The only downside I’ve encountered is that some Windows-specific applications I previously used aren’t compatible with macOS. However, I’m working on finding suitable alternatives, so it's not a major problem. As for storage, I initially considered the 512GB model, but since I store most of my files in the cloud, the base storage has been more than sufficient. Overall, this laptop has been a perfect match for both my work and everyday use.

Got the M4 MacBook Air 13-inch with the min config (16 GB RAM, 256 SSD). Pros: - fast - really lightweight - first time with macOS and it's just as good as I expected it to be Cons: - The color of the laptop is really nice. However, it's a magnet for fingerprints. I have to clean it everyday (which I don't mind) to get rid of the fingerprints.
