The 13” size is ideal: lightweight, travel-friendly, and perfect for couch or coffee shop use. I debated upgrading to the 15”, but for my workflow (tech troubleshooting, policy drafting, and community data analysis), the 13” hits the sweet spot. Plus, resale value on this config is strong—I could recoup my full cost if I ever decide to upgrade. Bonus points to Best Buy for honoring a price drop post-purchase. Between the performance, build quality, and customer service, this MacBook Air is a no-brainer.

I purchased the MacBook Air that was released in 2020 and this year I purchased this one and I can tell the difference between the processors. This new MacBook is so much faster than the 2020 one. It also has a slim design that I love. The new color is also impeccable. I can’t even think of a complaint.

I resisted the urge for years. I planted my feet firmly into the ground, refusing to give into the societal views of A1 technology, convinced that I could be content with my LG laptop, which had held up just fine for me since I purchased it in 2019. And then, when my LLC work began to take off...it died on me. As the owner of a new, paid off iPhone and a paid off Apple Watch, it only made sense at that point to purchase a MacBook, and sync up with the products I already had. Bay bayyyyyy. I am so mad at how much I love my laptop. It's very intuitive (the "two fingers to scroll" had me in a chokehold for the longest though, so keep that in mind!), I love that my texts and calls and everything in between can come to my laptop when I'm focused on deep work and am away from my other devices, I love the long battery life, the sleekness, the user friendliness...I'm just very happy with this laptop. If you have it in your budget, I would recommend going for the 15 inch, but outside of that, I have had no complaints so far. It's great for my independent contractor work and aids me in my admin work as well. Great product. Money well spent.

The 2025 MacBook Air (M4) is one of the best mainstream laptops you can buy in 2025 especially if you value battery and portability with a premium macos experience. It’s not a huge generational leap, but it’s a very solid all-around performer and a safe investment unless you need very heavy workstation performance

One is the sleek and lightweight design, which makes it easy to carry around. Another is the speed of the computer. The M4 chip was a difference maker for me when I was on the market for a computer.
