Love everything about it, fast, long lasting charge, easy apps and great storage

I usually had gotten my Apple products at an Apple Store - but it was so much easier to get my new Mac Air at BB - and the sales tech was as knowledgeable as in the Apple Store. As far as the new Mac Air - I no longer need the power of a Mac Pro. The new Mac Air with the M4 chip built for Apple Intelligence is sleek, light and fast and more than capable. For the money it is a. great value. The Sky Blue color is a nice change from the silver I had gotten in the past.

I’ve been using the Apple MacBook Air 13-inch with the M4 chip (16GB/256GB, Starlight) as my daily driver, and the performance quality stands out right away. The M4 chip is consistently responsive apps launch instantly, multitasking is fluid, and switching between browser tabs, Zoom calls, and design tools feels seamless without lag. For everyday workloads and even heavier tasks like photo editing or light video work, this machine doesn’t hesitate or get bogged down. Build quality is excellent: the chassis feels sturdy and premium, the keyboard is comfortable with satisfying key travel, and the overall design gives that well-crafted Apple experience. The screen is crisp, bright, and easy on the eyes during long work sessions. For gaming latency, keep expectations realistic—this isn’t a gaming laptop. System responsiveness is solid, keyboard and touchpad input feels accurate and immediate, but demanding 3D titles will either need low settings or won’t run at playable framerates. In casual or lightweight games, latency isn’t noticeable and gameplay feels smooth. The 16GB of memory helps keep the experience snappy even with multiple apps open, and while the 256GB SSD fills up quicker than I’d like, its performance is fast and makes loading apps and files feel instant. When my wife's M1 MacBook Air broke there was only one choice to replace it. These devices have been consistently powerful with long battery life and excellent hardware. This latest version defaults to having twice the memory which certainly makes a difference on multitasking and larger demands. On sale there's no better deal than this device.

Love this laptop! I thought that the gold was going to be too obnoxious but it actually is the perfect little twinge of gold and a nice change from the silver. The screen is nice and big and goes all the way to the edges. Works quickly but I just use it for school, no advanced programs or coding.

I had a Macbook Air 13 M1 chip from 2020 and I loved it, sadly it broke, so I had to get a new laptop. The repairs would of been about the same price as a new one so I ended up buying the Macbook Air M4 chip. Coming from the older model to this newest model I can see a huge difference/improvement in how the M4 chips works. It feels so much smoother and faster than my old Macbook. The battery life is really good and screen quality is also really clear compared to the old one. I also love this new midnight color! It for sure is prone to getting finger prints, but I don't really care much about that, I just clean it with a soft cloth and it's fine. If that is an issue for you then I would suggest to get a different color. I don't do anything too heavy on my laptop, I mostly just do normal browsing/streaming and some gaming here and there. I've been using it for about a month now and so far I've not run into any issues with it. I would definitely recommend this laptop to others wanting to upgrade from an older model.
