Excellent laptop; light weight and performance is good

Bought this for my little sister who is in first year of college. She loves it, perfect for her school workloads. Glad to see apple include a minimum 16GB ram with these now, the M4 is a beast of a chip. Great picture too, very comparable to my Macbook Pro. The dark midnight blue color on this looks good in person.

Design & Feel The Midnight finish looks sleek — darker tone, subtle, classy. The build is super light, the hinge feels solid, keyboard and trackpad are great as always. It’s that premium Apple feel, but still portable enough to carry around all day without fatigue. 2. Performance with Apple Intelligence Features The M4 chip feels like a leap forward. Tasks with AI-assisted features are smooth: things like Smart Summaries, on-device Intelligence, built-in Copilot-style help, etc. respond quickly, without the lag or stutter you sometimes get in lesser laptops. Even when I push a few tasks together (multiple apps, some AI features working, browser tabs open), it handles them well. Advanced AI Tasks Still Limited by Some Latency For most everyday stuff it’s great, but super heavy tasks (e.g. huge datasets, large video rendering with AI features, etc.) still take time. If you’re used to a desktop or higher-end laptop, you’ll notice a little lag in extremely demanding workflows. Learning Curve for Apple Intelligence Some features are new and subtle — you need to learn where Apple has added AI assistance (menus, context actions, etc.). It’s not always obvious. Also sometimes I wish for more user control over how “helpful” Copilot is (verbosity, how intrusive suggestions are, etc.).

Surprising that the "best in class" does not have a touch screen. The touch pad is annoying. When I click on a something onscreen it usually takes three clicks to make it advance. The first brings up a menu, as if I had right clicked. The second removes the menu, and the third advances to where I wanted to go. Maybe this is a Settings issue, but I don't think so because it "only" happens about 85% of the time.

I’ve been using the M4 MacBook Air in Sky Blue, and it’s honestly been a joy. The color is even better in person—soft, clean, and just different enough to feel special without being loud. Day‑to‑day performance is great. Everything feels quick, it stays cool, and the battery easily lasts me through a full day. It’s also so light that I barely notice it in my bag, which has made it my go‑to for working anywhere. The keyboard and trackpad feel really comfortable, and the speakers are surprisingly good for such a thin laptop. My only small gripe is that the base storage can fill up faster than you’d expect, depending on how you use it. Overall, it’s a simple, reliable, great‑looking laptop that’s just easy to live with. I’m really happy with it.

We bought this as an early graduation gift for our daughter. She loves this Mac book, It’s lightweight, a pretty sky blue color and does everything she needs for school.

honestly, it’s place all the computer. I love how it’s light and the display is pretty good. Camera is also really good. The only downfall of this is the stupid power cable but honestly it’s OK. Definitely recommend do you love Apple products.

I was pleased with the price, the service was great and after trying a Chromebook as well as an HP computer I went back to my old standby, an Apple MacBook Air. Unlike HP, Apple makes everything comfortably the same only better. I could use TurboTax from Amazon, I didn't have to change my email address, I could still use Chrome. Apple doesn't demand that I change my life, it makes computer which already fit my life and works great. I love my new MacBook Air!
