The gold standard for an every day carry laptop. Lightweight with great battery life. I wish Apple would allow for better upgrade and repairability, but I guess that would cut into their profits. Still, a socketed M chip or the ability to upgrade/replace the logic board would still net Apple money while keeping devices from becoming e-waste.

The MacBook Air M4 is an excellent all-round laptop for most users: students, professionals doing lighter creative work, writers, developers who don’t need long rendered workflows, anyone who values portability, battery life, and reliability. It represents a solid upgrade over the M3, especially given the price drop.

Great upgrade from 2019 Macbook Air. Runs so smooth, great battery life, and perfectly lightweight and thin. Definitely going to be my new daily driver for a while.

I like the size and light weight of this Apple 13”. It has long battery life and had plenty of charge upon opening to set up and load programs. Using it instead of my desktop because keyboard is more comfortable. Overall my favorite laptop so far!
