I upgraded to this from a 2020 MacBook Air such a great decision. The battery life is great I can go thru an 8 hour shift and still have some juice left. Sleek and the color is v pretty. Graphics are good and runs fast

Excellent speed, display, fit and finish. Purchased to switch from 13” iPad M2 with Apple Magic Keyboard. Lighter by about .5 lbs compared to the iPad keyboard combo. It is more stable too. Trade in on both iPad and keyboard was done in-store. Simple to do.

So far my MacBook M4 has been amazing. Lightning speed and great performance. This might be a settings configuration that i need to set up but only thing I’m not thrilled about is the loss of the tap responsiveness. Now you actively have to click to select something. Besides that…i have zero complaints for now!

I’ll be honest: I was skeptical upgrading from my older MacBook Air. How much better could it really be? After two months with the M4 MacBook Air 13-inch, I have my answer significantly. The performance jump is immediately noticeable. Tasks that used to make my old machine fan up and crawl large Lightroom catalogs, running multiple browser tabs alongside video calls are now handled without so much as a hiccup. And there are no fans to spin up, because there are none. It stays completely silent, even under load. The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display looks stunning. Text is razor-sharp, colors are vibrant but accurate, and I find myself working longer sessions without the eye fatigue I used to experience. The 2560x1664 resolution makes everything pop. Battery life is simply ridiculous in the best way. I routinely get through a full workday 9 to 5, with Teams calls, coding, and streaming and still have juice left. I’ve stopped carrying my charger to the office entirely. The 16GB of unified memory keeps everything snappy, and the M4 chip handles Apple Intelligence features seamlessly. Writing suggestions, photo cleanup, and summarization tools have genuinely worked their way into my daily routine. My only gripe? 256GB fills up faster than you’d expect. If you work with large media files, seriously consider stepping up to 512GB. Bottom line: At $999, this is the best all-around laptop available at any price. Light, fast, silent, and gorgeous the MacBook Air M4 sets the bar for what a laptop should be.

Fast, light, beautiful-perfect everyday laptop !!!

Apple has done it again! I finally upgraded my old MacBook Air and I could not be more satisfied with my decision. The screen is small enough that it can fit easily in my back pack, yet large enough that I don’t feel I’m straining my eyes to see. The features is the new Macs are amazing. For example the new M4 chip allows you to have two external monitors displayed while also having the laptop itself displayed. Previous models could not do that. Also, it handles multiple tasks at once well. I often have Lightroom which is a pretty taxing task running and Spotify and other tabs open at once and it runs smooth. If you’re into more advanced activities such as video editing I would maybe look into the Pro model. But for a photo hobbyist/student this works just fine. And the color looks clean!

I’ve been using the MacBook Air and I’m really impressed with its performance and portability. It’s incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for travel or working on the go. The battery life is excellent—easily lasting a full day with regular use.
