Initially, I did not think an upgrade was necessary, but the base memory increase from 8GB to 16GB—without any price increase for the same MacBook Air tier—made this an excellent value. While the differences compared to the M3 model are subtle, they are meaningful. Notably, this model supports two external monitors without requiring clamshell mode, allowing up to three displays in total. For my use case, that feature alone, combined with the doubled memory, made the upgrade well worth it. Overall, I am very satisfied with the decision.

The build quality feels premium, the screen is crisp and vibrant, and the performance is on a whole different level compared to what I was using before. Apps open instantly, multitasking feels effortless, and the battery lasts way longer than I expected — even with heavy use. The keyboard is comfortable, the trackpad is extremely responsive, and the overall design is sleek without being bulky. Whether I’m working, streaming, or editing content, it handles everything with ease. Definitely worth the investment. Highly recommend!
