For years I have relied on my iMac and continue to love a desktop; however, replacing my iPat with this laptop was a great decision. I have no comparison since I've never had a laptop but can share that it is very easy to use, has great resolution, and gets the job done!

If you use it for 10 years at a $750 price point, it's like paying about $7/month over that decade-long period. That seems fair to me. But only at that discount. Funnily enough, Best Buy's discount was $50 more than Apple's. Sounds like they over-produced this generation and are trying to offload a glut of product onto a consumer base with purchasing power that has been decreasing over the past few years since Covid.

I spent years with windows, practically my whole life, but I longed to the connectivity of the Mac book with my phone and other Apple products (Apple TV, iPad, etc). It also runs all the programs I use flawlessly (Adobe suits, davinci resolve). No regrets
