Seems to work great so far. Upgraded from an 10 year old MacBook Pro. The touch pad for login is a very nice idea that is saving me a lot of time.

With the switch to Apple Silicon processors in 2021, even the base, entry level Macs have been excellent performers. With the M4 series Macs, the standard ram went from 8 to 16gb without a price increase. If you need (or expect to need) more storage, the $200 price bump is a bit much but they offset each other, and MacBooks are the best made laptops available.

I bought this M4 MacBook Air to upgrade from an M2. There was nothing wrong with the M2, but I passed it down to a family member who needed one so it was a good excuse for a new one. As with all my prior MacBooks this one is great and is fast. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is an amazing laptop for everyday use. I don't personally use it for anything to advanced mostly just school and work stuff but it does everything I need it to. The only negative thing I could possibly say about it is that I wish it was touch screen, but I knew it wasn't before I bought it.

Swapped from a M1 MacBook Pro to this model after seeing reviews. Works amazing for photo editing and 1080HD Video Editing. Battery life is good, maybe not as good as the MBP with the workflow I have, but overall, I would definitely recommend as a Photo Editing device. I love this laptop, it is super light and does everything I need. I use it for schooling and learning to code.

Must have for the aspiring college student. Highly recommend the 512 SS drive as this paired with the icloud will provide memory needed over 4 years. Feel of the product is sturdy and well built, Speed is great wit the new chips, highly recommend this laptop
