Absolutely love this MacBook Air with the new M4 chip! It’s super fast, incredibly lightweight, and the Sky Blue finish looks stunning. The 16GB memory and 512GB SSD give plenty of speed and storage for multitasking and creative work. Battery life is excellent too. A perfect blend of performance and portability — highly recommend!

I purchased an M1 Laptop when they were released and I was amazed at how cool it worked and it's speed. The M4 has now blown my mind again. This is such a great machine, it's hard to believe that it is as quick and responsive as it is. The screen is beautiful and the battery lasts me for days. Buy it.

Excellent product! I am so very happy with this purchase. I had a beloved 9 year old Mac, that could no longer handle updates. It had served me very well with teaching online courses, creating curriculum documents, and handling Zooms for counseling. I love the speed and ease of use of this new Mac. I got the Starlight color. It is pretty. I plan to use it equally as much, and love that it is so reliable.

Well after years of using PC's, both laptops and desktops, I decided to try this macbook air. My previous laptop was about 3 years old and was working fine. However, I use Adobe lightroom and the denoise function that has been implemented in the last 2 years requires a very powerful GPU. In order to get a laptop with the specs I needed it cost more than this Mac so I decided, why not. I heard good things about the M4 chip, Overall I am very pleased with it. It is very light, fast, and solved my problem. As I was a systems administrator is my past life, adjusting to MacOS took some effort but was pretty easy for me. My main desktop is still a windows PC, only a year old and runs faster so I will not be changing it out for mac right now. Haven't found anything to complain about as it is mainly used for travel. Main PC does the heavy lifting,

A Powerful Everyday Laptop That Just Works

I’ve been using the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip (16GB RAM / 512GB SSD) for a mix of casual use, music work, and everyday productivity, and honestly, it’s been a huge step up from anything I’ve used on Windows. First off, performance is outstanding for such a thin and lightweight laptop. The M4 chip handles everything I throw at it without hesitation, whether that’s running multiple apps, working on music projects, or just having a bunch of tabs open. It’s fast, smooth, and completely silent since there’s no fan. Even coming from decent Windows machines, this feels like a different level of efficiency and responsiveness. Reviews consistently highlight how the M4 balances power and efficiency extremely well, and I can definitely see why. Battery life has also been a standout. I can easily get through a full day without thinking about charging, which is a big deal for me. Apple claims all-day battery life, and in real-world use, it holds up, especially for casual tasks and light creative work. The design is exactly what you’d expect from Apple, clean, lightweight, and premium. It’s incredibly easy to carry around, and the build quality feels solid. The Liquid Retina display is bright and sharp, making everything from browsing to music production visuals look great. Where this really shines for me is being fully in the Apple ecosystem. Everything just works together, AirDrop, iMessage, iCloud, and even things like copy and paste between devices. That seamless integration is something I never really had on Windows, and it genuinely changes how I use my laptop day to day. For music specifically, it’s been more than capable. It handles DAWs, plugins, and recording without any noticeable lag, and the 16GB of memory gives me plenty of headroom to work comfortably. If I had to nitpick, it’s not designed for heavy gaming or super high-end video production, but that’s not what this machine is meant for. For everyday use, creative work, and general productivity, it’s pretty close to perfect. Bottom line: If you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, or thinking about switching, this MacBook Air is an easy recommendation. It’s fast, reliable, incredibly portable, and just makes everything feel smoother compared to my previous Windows experience.

Had a MacBook early 2015 before upgrading to the M4. I had to get a new laptop because my screen cracked and it wasn’t worth the price to fix, so I was very hesitant about which model to buy. After a lot of research, m4 seemed like the most economical choice and best investment. I still had my doubts about whether it was worth the price tag, especially since my early 2015 air was working just fine before the crack. However, there definitely is a noticeable difference in the overall function of the computer. (For reference, I upgraded to 512gb storage after having 256gb memory). This laptop runs faster & cleaner, with no issues opening multiple apps, even if one of them involves data analysis. No slowness, no lags, doesn’t heat up quickly, and battery lasts a while. Camera is crazy sharp as well, and moves with you as you move your head on FT, Zoom, teams, or other video conferencing apps. No issues with sound or mic use either on these apps so far. No regrets upgrading to the higher storage option - I desperately needed it and didn’t even know it, so I’d recommend doing that too if you keep getting that “not enough storage” message now. The only con (and annoyance) for me is that the usb ports are all usb-C, so normal flash drives and older phone chargers won’t plug in without an adaptor. I also think it should be cheaper, but that’s my issue with Apple in general lol and I’m hoping it lasts long.
