It's a Liquid Retina display, and while it doesn't have the fancy ProMotion of the Pro model, it's still bright and colorful. This poor rating is NOT about the MacBook Air it's about Best Buy. When I purchased the MacBook I at the same time traded a computer. I received my promised money for the trade in, however I did not receive the refund for the tax overage that I paid at time of sale and which the stated ON THEIR website I would receive. No matter the calls I made to the store nor to corporate or the emails, nor the BBB complaint I filed. It's not a lot of money it's the principle.FALSE ADVERTISMENT! BEWARE
