I picked up the MacBook Air 13-inch with the M4 chip (512 GB) for my girlfriend, and it ended up being the perfect college laptop. It’s super lightweight, battery life is great, and it fits seamlessly into the Apple ecosystem she already uses. The performance is more than enough for schoolwork, research, streaming, and having a ton of tabs open at once. It just feels effortless to use. The screen is bright and easy to work on for long stretches, and the overall build quality feels premium without being bulky. If you want something reliable, portable, and simple that still feels high-quality, the M4 MacBook Air is honestly ideal for college. It does exactly what it’s meant to do with zero hassle.

Light weight quick and brighter than my previous Mac Book Air. Transfer from machine to machine went well with minimum problems. Takes time to adjust to the fact that symbols not where previous models had them so finding them is a chore. Overall best Mac yet for my uses.
