This laptop is light weight compared to the previous model. I love the idea of being able to use your finger print to login as it makes it more personalized. Its portability is very useful for use in the classroom and for travel. Your shoulder won't hurt from its light weight. My daughter loves the applications and the ease in its use.

I love this MacBook Air! It’s light, thin and fast! I’ve had for about 2 months and it has been perfect. It does everything that I need it for. The battery last longer than my last MacBook!

I have owned Apple computers and devices for years, so I can compare this laptop's performance against past MacBook Air generations. The processor in this computer is lightyears better than the old Intel in my 2020 MaBook Air. Internet surfing is very fast. My Internet browsers can handle having many tabs running without any issues. iMovie also works without making this computer struggle. (I often create and edit videos using iMovie. My previous MacBook Air would struggle to run iMovie. This new laptop has no issues running the software.)
Another aspect of this new laptop I am very please with is the process for transferring my files and apps from my old computer to this new one. In past generations of the MacBook Air, I would run into problems transferring everything over. I always backup my most important files, so I was prepared for complications, but this time everything transferred over to my new computer with minimal fuss. The transfer works through Wifi. I only needed my computer password and my Apple ID and password. The transferring process took no more than an hour.
The laptop itself is beautiful. Just like my previous laptop, the keyboard feels good and durable. I am very pleased with the return of the magnetized power cord. I missed this feature in the last generation of the MacBook--the magnet connection helps eliminate the struggle of finding the correct port to plug in the cord.
Overall, this laptop keeps all the positive features of past Apple computers and includes improvements that might seem small but make a real difference. I look forward to years of good service from this machine!
I would recommend this to a friend

The M4 with 24GB ram is a beast of a machine. There is zero lag in running heavy workflows and one of the best for office work. Strongly recommend this

Bought a few months ago to replace a 5-yr old Razer laptop that had an end of life battery. The MacBook is definitely lighter and easier to carry to class. (But older laptop was built for gaming anyways so not really equal comparison.)
Great battery life and love the compatibility with iPad and other iOS apps. Would recommend!

Bought this computer for my wife to work on her Cricut projects. She loves how easy it is to use and how quickly she can create her designs. It’s the best laptop we could have chosen to support her hobby. Happy wife, happy life!

So far so good! I traded in my MacBook Air 15” from 2023, and I definitely like the 13” much better. The battery life is fantastic, and it runs smooth. It’s the perfect computer for school and every day needs. I got it in the sky blue color, and it’s super pretty! The staff at the Danbury CT location were very helpful and patient with the trade in process as well. Shout out to them!

Works just as expected the speed is very great and a lot faster and more responsive than my previous Mac (2021 MacBook Pro). I think it suffices perfectly and there is no need to upgrade to the pro unless you have very specific reasons for doing so. The Air is excellent and does just fine for me. I mean think about it, it has the same GPU, Storage and Chip as the pro. PERFECT choice for a personal laptop for work, home, or school.

Super fast, lightweight, and powerful. The M4 chip handles everything with ease, and the display looks amazing. I love the Starlight color, and the 24GB memory plus 512GB SSD make it perfect for work and everyday use. Highly recommend!

Great so far. Looks great and works great but it’s brand new . I can update once I have owned it for 1-2 years. My other Mac Pro is 4 years old and my son’s Mac air is a year old. Still holding up great!! Until Apple decides to do things on the cheap and destroy their quality, I will pretty much only go Apple.
