First one lasted 7 years, second one lasted 5 years - I did not need to upgrade but wanted to. I have never had an issue with my Macs. Best Buy was also very easy to deal with.

Lol. Apple has really dialed in their design and the strength of these chips. Memory is low but 16 gigs of rams is perfect for what I need.
