It's 2024, and I believe you must go with at least 16GB of RAM for your MacBook. The M3 is nice but not that much of a jump from the M1 and not that much different from the M2. Still objectively they made some improvements to the CPu. It's still the lightest and best MacBook apple has made yet.

I love this MacBook !! Helps me create content as well as get other work done all at once without slowing down my internet. I recommend my brother to get one and he got his from Best Buy same day. Best Buy really had the best deal I could find on it so I went with them.

Finally upgraded and wow super fast, UI is nice, plenty of space. Runs games really nicely. Perfect for studying as well.

First time Mac user and I have no regrets having made the switch from Windows. I’m not great at the technical specs but I can tell you what I like and don’t like! Pros - No fans! This laptop is silent. - Turns on so fast. - Apple ecosystem works amazing. - AirPlay works significantly better than casting with android and windows, in my experience. Cons - Needs adapters for anything that isn’t a basic usb-c. - Mac blocks some old softwares from running. For example, I have an old copy of Rosetta Stone on disc and it won’t allow it to run. Windows, however, has no issues running it.

I purchased it for my son who started his college this year. He is using it for software development and taking notes and doing homework assignment. What he loves the most is the insane battery life. No need to charge the laptop during daytime. It lasts the whole day.

It’s a nice computer, I like it because it’s not heavy and It fits perfectly on top of my legs. I wanted the lighter gray option which was out of stock but this is pretty close to the other one, it’s not dark at all.

Amazing for the price and everything works perfect !

Excellent computer that is a major improvement from my 2017 MacBook Pro. Much lighter, better battery life, and seems to have better thermal cooling even though there is no fan. Very pleased with it, although Apple should make 16gb ram standard.
