This MacBook Air with an M5 chip is a wonderful upgrade from my old system. It's lightweight and capable of running every application I need to get my work done. I'm very satisfied with it.

I’ve been a Windows PC user and gamer my entire life. My 6-year-old MSI laptop was finally on its last legs, so I decided to give the MacBook Air M5 a chance—even though I never thought I’d own a Mac. My biggest hesitation was game compatibility, and I didn’t think I’d get much value from the Apple ecosystem. After using it daily, I can honestly say I was wrong. This MacBook has handled everything I’ve thrown at it without breaking a sweat. I use it for software development, remote work through virtual machines, graphic design, and everyday multitasking, and it’s been incredibly fast and responsive. The battery life is outstanding, and it’s hard to believe all of this performance comes from a completely fanless laptop. I was also surprised by gaming performance. I wasn’t expecting much, but even titles like inZOI ran far better than I anticipated on a thin, silent laptop. If you’re a longtime Windows user who’s been hesitant to switch like I was, don’t write this machine off. It’s easily exceeded my expectations and has completely changed my opinion of what a MacBook can do.

I planned to travel in a few weeks as a patient advocate to the ASCO meeting at McCormick Place in Chiago. This involved full days of walking between sessions. The size, weight and battery life of the 17" mobile workstation I used for development and execution of medical imaging and radiation oncology software wouldn't work for the meeting. While my professional work was done in Windows, I carry an iPhone - so I decided to try living in the Apple computing ecosystem (there was also a $150 price break for this system). I loaded up my productivity apps and with a little tutoring from AI to learn MacOS navigation, tricks and shortcuts, I came to appreciate the functionality, ease of use and tight integration with my phone. I was impressed enough to purchase a USB Hub to connect monitor, keyboard, web cam and microphone. I plugged in my speaker in using the 3.5 mm jack and I started using my little MacBook Air as my daily machine to further acquaint myself with the system. This little system also powered a fully capable and performant desktop environment for every day tasks. Simply unplug the USB hub and speaker connections and I could move to my recliner. It was also, as I had hoped, the perfect travel system for my meeting - small, light and functional with plenty of battery life and tightly coupled to my phone. I also bought a pair of noise canceling headphones and thoroughly enjoyed watching the inflight entertainment on its crisp screen (a step up from holding my iPhone). Now that I'm home, I'm still using the Air as my daily work system until I have need of my 17" mobile workstation's horsepower or development environment.

I didn’t expect a laptop to make me feel this way, but the Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (M5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) truly surprised me. From the moment I opened the box, the Sky Blue color caught my attention — it feels calm, clean, and honestly a little inspiring. It’s not just a device, it feels like something you want to use every day. As someone who works long hours and also studies, I needed something reliable. This MacBook has made my daily life easier in ways I didn’t expect. It’s fast, smooth, and never feels like it’s struggling — even when I have many things open at once. That gives me peace of mind, especially on busy days. What I love the most is how effortless everything feels. No noise, no overheating, no stress. I can sit anywhere — at home, at work, or outside — and just focus on what I need to do. The battery lasting all day means I don’t have to keep worrying about finding a charger, which sounds small but actually makes a big difference. It’s also incredibly light, and I carry it with me everywhere now. It feels like a part of my routine, not a burden. To me, this isn’t just a laptop — it’s something that supports my goals, my work, and my everyday life. That’s why I’m genuinely happy I chose it.

I’ve been extremely impressed with this MacBook Air so far. The performance is incredibly fast for everyday use, multitasking, web browsing, streaming, and even light photo/video editing. Apps open instantly and everything feels smooth and responsive. I also appreciate that this model comes with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, which makes it feel much more future-proof. Overall, this has been an excellent upgrade and absolutely worth the purchase.

This is an excellent laptop for everyday needs, as well ad for more intensive tasks. The storage is perfect, it's fast, it's responsive, and does everything I need it to do. Well worth the purchase. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality laptop at a good price.

Great improvement from my M3 to M5. I can handle my daily tasks with no issues. Better battery I think last longer than my old M3

I’m a current nursing student and i recently started my own business and it doesn’t give me any issues whatsoever everything is smooth sailing I had problems with my hp I purchased and it’s was so slow I returned it and went straight to buy a MacBook because you get what u pay for

First time owning an Apple laptop the convenience is amazing! Airdropping to my phone instead of emailing everything over is worth the price anyday. Super lightweight take this this everywhere perfect for everyday use. AirPlay is another super handy feature

Perfect for Canvas and lecture notes. Good enough to edit photos taken from a Nikon camera. Overall well rounded for student and editing. Go Pro if you do photo editing and video editing.

I mean, it’s a brand new 2026 MacBook Air, which is a phenomenal machine. I’m on a tight budget so I was really pleased to be able to walk in the store and buy a brand new unit that was open box for probably about $100 less than I would’ve paid for the brand new brand new one. The sales associate was very helpful and helping me pick out the option that was right for me. I needed to split my transaction across two credit cards and he was also helpful getting that done. I previously spoke with a sales representative on the phone to get the item delivered and they were very helpful too, but I decided to go directly to the store so I could have my beloved MacBook Air that every day. Best Buy made that happen with a price lower than everyone else. So I gotta say I really love this deal. Thanks Best Buy.

I have a MacAir from 2018 and it's running slow after 8 years' use. Replacing it with the new Mac M5, which is way out of my expectation. It feels so sleek and smooth. And I love the sky blue color too!

Excellent computer with great speed and battery life.

I decided to get a Mac book laptop after having an hp after so many years. Granted my hp got me through every assignment I needed done but after a while it started running a little slow so I decided to get this MacBook. This was the best investment I made. It runs so much smoother and more efficient!

Its actually perfect u can use for editing little bit of gaming no lagging perfect laptop to watch movies anime and etc
