Visual issue seeing keys due to color choice

It turned on immediately, which surprised me as my ancient Mac Book Pro had to be booted up by pushing on the power button; as did all my previous Apple computers. This was not concerning, just unexpected. The concern came into play when I saw the keypad which is composed of black key caps that are the exact same color as the keyboard area. With my visual problems it was very difficult to clearly see each individual key for ease of use. Had an example of this keyboard style been on display I would have not bought this model. It took two frustrating attempts to return the laptop and exchange for the original color I had asked to purchase, at no extra cost.

I have only had it a couple weeks but so far I am pleased. I could use a usb plug, but bought an adapter so it works.
