Overall best laptop I’ve ever owned works real well for an old model laptop

I got this as a gift for Christmas. We easily transferred all my information from my other mac to this one with no trouble. It is a very nice laptop--lightweight. I love how you use your fingerprint to get into the computer. I got the midnight color. Like it so far. It does show smudges. I'm sure as I use it more I will like it even better than I do now. The speed is excellent.

My only complaint is the limited IP address for security reasons results in the wifi not staying connected. I've changed the settings.

Excellent computer, I appreciate the bigger screen

Years ago, purchased the base model MacBook pro and it has been a solid reliable machine, and still is, aside from battery life and speed. This MacBook air is so fast, when I transferred images and video from my camera card the first time, I thought it had a malfunction, it did not. Just blazing fast USB speeds. This is another solid machine from Apple and the value for the quality is impressive.

Just can’t go wrong with this computer. Love my Mac! It’s a little pricey but worth it if you do a lot of editing, graphics, 3d modeling, etc.

I have always been a non Apple computer person. Mainly due to work and school, as they are cheaper. I can say, wow Apple knows how to make a great laptop. Was debating on the intel powered and not the M3. M3 is only about six months old (at the time of writing this) so please go for one of the M’s. You will thank yourself in a few years when it still works. Wanted the 16’ screen but couldn’t justify 1’ for $500 or more. The 15’ display is great. Thought going from my 15 year old 17’ HP screen would be a big change, it wasn’t. GREAT CHOICE MADE.
