Bought my MacBook Air as an open box option and realized it didn't come with a charger. Bought a charger and tried to start it up, but there was something going on with the software. Took the MacBook to best buy to get it fixed, and geek squad fixed it in an hour. Now, I definitely use my MacBook like crazy and in love with it! Saved money and satisfied with my purchase. Those guys were very helpful after letting me know that my old laptop hard drive was about to crash. They left nothing to chance regarding the issue so the tech person had a floor sales person to show me their new model Macs and after sharing info with me about the one I wound up getting turns out it was the best choice I could have made buying something new for the first time in a LONG time. It was great!

The performance of this computer is amazing for the price range. I got it on sale, however. It has an amazing chip and the onky major difference between this and the pro is the pro has fans. This macbook still never overheats unless your using powerful programs. Overall, definitely recommend.

Love this laptop, does what I want it to do im not graphic designer, or any professional that needs a lot of horsepower from my mad book so its plenty of power for me. I use it for content learning in IT and some gaming on it as well as general use, web surfing, email checking the usual. great battery life, and does pretty well on the games.

After looking at all the laptops on display for windows computers I realized there was just too many options with all of them having enough bad reviews for me to feel iffy about all of them, even the ones at a way higher price point. Then I thought about switching to MacBook since I am in the apple ecosystem. I ended up biting the bullet and getting the MacBook Air. While the visuals are no OLED, the overall feel of the computer is solid and MacOS is unbelievably 10/10 compared to Windows 11. The only downside is the Mac OS scaling that has been proven to be additionally very annoying to find a pairing monitor with. Luckily I purchased my set up during the Black Friday/ holiday sales making my setup dramatically cheaper than it would have been any other time of the year. I will probably trade this one in for when the rumored OLED pros come out or get a 5K monitor to match the os scaling once more of those come out at a more affordable price or when I have the funds for the 1,500 matching apple display. The apple ecosystem has the capability to get pricey, but the reviews and my overall experience understand that is the true value of apple products. I only knocked 1 star due to the scaling issues.

It is really perfect for the daily purpose as a Student. Screen resolution and refresh rate is perfect. Using since 2-3 months now, it is very good with big screen and comfortable to use
