Replacing my trusted 6 yr old MacBook pro

This MacBook air is so fast, when I transferred images and video from my camera card the first time, I thought it had a malfunction, it did not. Just blazing fast USB speeds. This is another solid machine from Apple and the value for the quality is impressive.

Great laptop.

The only thing you would maybe need more of is, a larger SSD. But that can be resolved for half the price by using an USB 3 drive.

First Apple laptop

Mainly due to work and school, as they are cheaper. I can say, wow Apple knows how to make a great laptop. Was debating on the intel powered and not the M3. M3 is only about six months old (at the time of writing this) so please go for one of the M’s. You will thank yourself in a few years when it still works. Wanted the 16’ screen but couldn’t justify 1’ for $500 or more. The 15’ display is great. Thought going from my 15 year old 17’ HP screen would be a big change, it wasn’t. GREAT CHOICE MADE.

Best computer for my 11 year old going in the 6th

The battery life is wonderful and I am not constantly worried it will shut off at any moment. I use this for school work and I use the Design Space software for my Cricut Maker.

I just couldn’t afford it at the time. The next thing I bought close to the Mack was a HP then when I did get my Apple Mac computer I was so pleased with it. I ended up buying a second one.

The only thing I dislike about MacBook Air is the need to purchase a dongle. Unfortunately, the machines only ship with 2 USB-C ports. A dongle is necessary to accept other connections, such a USB-A.
