Unfortunately, I had to return. The item wasn’t a Best Buy issue. I realize that the 15 inch entrance quite big for traveling. It was very easy to return it.

It’s good, but I face issues sometimes when it gets stuck.

Dear Best Buy Corporate Team, I am writing to formally report a concerning experience I had with a recent open-box purchase. Upon receiving the item, I discovered it was a different color than described. More importantly, the previous user’s login credentials were still active on the device, rendering the unit unusable. This oversight suggests a serious lapse in your inspection process, and I am concerned that this may have been handled improperly by staff at the store level. While I am very grateful to the store manager who went above and beyond to resolve my complaint and assist me with the return, the experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with the open-box program. I believe an investigation into how this unit was processed is necessary to ensure other customers do not encounter similar issues. I hope you will look into this matter to improve the quality and security of your open-box inventory.

Love it. I have an Apple phone but this is my first Mac. It’s an adjustment from my HP but I’m really liking it.

Wonderful laptop meeting all my expectation. Did have to change because of the USB differences but this is survivable!

I initially wanted a Microsoft Serface and a salesman talked me into an Apple MacBook. Download from my old computer, the Microsoft OS to the Apple OS was less successful than what I expected. Individual files were spread in different areas and not in their folders. It was labor intensive to move them one by one into folders. I spent too much time trying to configure the computer to my ET-3850 printer. After research I found out the specific Apple MacBook has no driver to work with my printer rendering the MacBook useless to me. I returned it and received a full refund and purchased a Microsoft Surface. Slightly less expensive and more ports built into the Surface with the same footprint. It specifically includes a standard USB port I can use to download pictures and files from several flash drives. The Apple product I’m sure is a solid product and is a fit for many users, but not for me. My Microsoft Surface purchase download fantastic, and configured easily with my ET-3850. I’m happy!!

I recently bought the MacBook Air and overall thought it was a great device, lightweight, fast, and well‑built. Unfortunately, I ended up returning it because it caused me significant eye strain. After looking into it, I discovered that this is actually a fairly common issue reported by users who are sensitive to certain types of display lighting or flicker. What surprised me is that almost none of the major YouTube reviews mention this, even though it seems to affect a noticeable number of people. If you’re sensitive to screens or prone to eye strain, this is something to be aware of before buying.

Only problem was you need to purchase external speakers

Bought this laptop in November 2025, and one month later, the screen is broken. It is defective, and Best Buy will not replace the laptop. They are giving us the run-around and sending us to Apple. We have a Geek Squad membership, and still, we can not get a new laptop. Very poor customer service. Next time we will just buy from Apple instead.
