I traded down from a MacBook Pro, and don't feel any impact to my day-to-day use (I'm not a gamer, graphic designer, or content creator). I also love that the M4 chip is solid state. And the processing speed compared with my old laptop is like night and day. The speakers aren't as good, but that's not a big deal for me.
I don't quite get the upsides of the new (fabric) power cord, and even after a couple of weeks, I think it looks like an aftermarket item. And I'm not a fan of the magnetic power connector (ones I've had in the past broke with age). And it's a bummer that there aren't USB-C ports on both sides of the unit...but I don't feel too terribly impacted by that either.
My major concerning issue is that for a new computer, I get a lot of hung up apps and spinning circles. So my fingers are crossed that I didn't buy a lemon.
Love the Starlight color. Love how lightweight it is.

I’m really impressed with this new 15-inch MacBook Air. The Sky Blue color is unique and looks amazing in person. It’s super light and thin, but still really powerful thanks to the new M4 chip.
Everything runs fast — apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth with 16GB of memory, and the battery easily lasts all day. The screen is big and super clear, great for work and watching videos. Plus, 512GB of storage is more than enough for everything I need.
Overall, it’s a perfect mix of speed, style, and performance. Totally worth it!

I recently purchased the new MacBook Air with the M4 chip from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience—from the product itself to the store service.
Performance:
The M4 chip is incredibly fast and efficient. Whether I’m multitasking, editing photos, or streaming, everything runs smooth and silent. Apps launch instantly, and battery life is seriously impressive—easily lasting me all day without needing to charge.
Design & Portability:
Apple nailed the sleek, lightweight design again. It’s thin, solidly built, and perfect for working on the go. The screen is bright and vibrant, and the keyboard and trackpad feel great to use. It looks and feels premium in every way.
Best Buy Experience:
Buying from Best Buy was hassle-free. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and I even got it on sale. Pickup was quick, and everything was well-packaged and ready to go. I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with their customer service and return policy too.
Bottom line:
If you’re looking for a powerful, portable laptop with top-notch battery life and premium performance, the MacBook Air M4 is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend both the device and Best Buy!

The new MacBook Air 15" with the M4 chip is a powerhouse in a sleek, lightweight frame. Performance is incredibly smooth — multitasking, video editing, and even running automation tools like Playwright and Android Studio is seamless. The 16GB memory and 512GB SSD offer plenty of room and speed for professional workflows. The Midnight color is stunning and gives it a premium feel. Battery life easily lasts a full workday, and the display is crisp and vibrant. Highly recommended for developers, creatives, and anyone looking for a reliable, stylish laptop.

Just picked up the new MacBook Air M4, and I’m seriously impressed. Apple really knocked it out of the park with this one. It’s insanely fast, super lightweight, and the battery life is wild—I’ve gone all day without needing a charge. The display is crisp, everything runs smooth, and it barely heats up even during heavy use. Perfect for editing, everyday work, or just chilling with a movie. Definitely worth the upgrade!

I’ve been using my MacBook Air for a little while now, and it has really delivered on what I needed it for, which is my writing. It’s lightweight, reliable, and perfect for nice long writing sessions, or even being on call with friends.
Even beyond that, it’s also just a joy to use casually. Whether I’m browsing the web, watching videos or movies, or catching up on small tasks, the overall experience is very enjoyable.
What really stands out to me is the speed and battery life. Everything loads quickly, and I can go hours without worrying about charging, which makes it incredibly convenient for both my writing sessions and relaxation.
Overall; I am satisfied with this purchase and I would recommend it to many.

Great product. Apple finally made a decent laptop that can do it all and then some. The build (weight and portability) will spoil you. Keyboard and mousepad are the best. Thunderbolt4 ports are appreciated. Screen is fine at 60htz, but it is bright. You can actually use it on your lap. The performance is great and barely heats up. Great for non-intensive workflow. You can use two monitors with the laptop in the open position. The sound is really good as well. Battery life is amazing. It can last days without needing a charge.
Get the 15 inch (really more like 14 inch) though because of the stupid top notch that steals an inch from you. I could overlook it if it had faceID. Would also appreciate another thunderbolt4 on the right side instead of audio port.

Great machine. Screen is super sexy, wish it was matte and higher refresh rate, but still top of the line, It's like I'm watching movies for the first time on this thing, the quality and colors are INSANE.
The M4 chip is a beast. No hiccups, like it's so good you don't even think you're using a computer, you're just going about your day doing 30 things at once and everything works flawlessly.
Sky blue color is gorgeous, and battery life is insane. I have a crappy dell latitude for work (worst computer u can spend 1.4 thousand dollars on) so I don't use this MacBook like on a 9-5 basis, but I use it a lot after work and on weekends. Internet surfing, and medium to heavy music production on GarageBand. If I'm not producing music, I could literally charge this once per week. If I was HEAVY producing in like 2-3 hour bursts then it'd last me a bit under 2 days (super impressive still). If it's medium producing and heavy web surfing then maybe 3-5 days on a single charge. Unreal. I've had this for a month and a half and I've charged it from low battery to 100 ONLY 11 TIMES!!!! You'd need a $3000 windows laptop to get 75% of that battery performance.
Also did I mention that Dell Latitudes are horribly awful?

Excellent laptop. Plenty of speed and the M series chip gives for unparalleled battery life. The bigger screen is perfect for multitasking, and the keyboard and trackpad feel great. My biggest grip, however, is the speakers sound tinny and hollow. For a thin and light laptop they are not terrible, but for a machine of this price I would expect better.

Got this for my wife to replace her 2013 Mac air, which was still working. She loves the larger screen and the additional power. The battery life is excellent. It still is very portable.
It integrates with her iPhone, watch and iPad seamlessly.
Apple is simply the best!

I've had HP laptops my whole life. I never thought I would switch to the "dark side." This is my favorite laptop I have ever had. It works like a charm and just feels surreal when I use it. Excellent quality, battery, design, everything. Couldn't be happier.

Just got my macbook m4 air today and I love it. I actually had the macbook pro m3 and was able to trade it in for this Air. It is nice and light, fully capable of handling any task you throw at it. Super fast, great resolution, and the 15" is the perfect size. Fully satisfied.

I love the 15inch screen! I have had the 13inch for the past 5 years and now that I am in school switching to the 15inch was the best decision. It makes it much easier when working on your computer all day. It also is not much heavier than the 13inch macbook air so it is still comfortable to carry around in my backpack. If you are between 13inch and 15inch go with the 15!

Absolutely the best laptop money can buy and for the price range. You can make music on it, edit 4k videos and everything else. Battery life is superior to all! Only thing is that I wish the display was higher hertz. Overall highly recommend!!!

First MacBook Air. Have had an iPad and iPhone for more than five years. Took granddaughter advice and switched from windows to Mac. Cannot believe I waited so long. Had a few tricks to learn but overall so much easier. Battery life is unbelievable my average is two to three times longer than advertised. I used notes to create invoices for a customer. She could not open, asked if I could remake in pdf. Opened note, hit drop down menu and clicked one button to change to pdf. Simple. Used for thirteen hour road trip to watch live tv with iptv, no issues traveling through 7 states. I’m sure I am barely using every feature. Also the associate at bestbuy asked what my uses would be and told me was more than enough computer, did not need a pro. The resolution of screen is as good or better than 65 inch tv. Highly recommend

I recently upgraded to the 15-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip, and I couldn’t be happier! The performance is lightning-fast — everything from opening apps to running multiple programs feels effortless. The M4 chip is seriously impressive; it handles work, streaming, and even light editing without breaking a sweat.

Great laptop for the price. As a mobile developer this can keep up with heavy lifting in Xcode running two sims at once, the same goes for android studio. For those interested it can run smaller llm's fine, just manage your expectations, this is only 16GB of unified memory. Battery life is great, I get about 12/14 hours with light use, 10/12 with Xcode and a sim, and 6/8.5 hours with vscode.

I like the size of it. Processing speed is great for what I need. I can split screen the window and still be able to see everything on the screen. Display can be sensitive. My husbands screen broke 2 weeks after buying it, so I highly recommend getting apple care.

I love everything about this Mac. It is sleek, thin, just the right size and best of all, speedy! The battery live is incredible and the display is sharp.
