This review concerns Best Buy's misleading "Excellent Condition Open-Box" rating, specifically regarding a MacBook Air M3 (purchased on trade-in). The product received was far from excellent: the packaging was muddy, and the laptop cover had a clear, visible hot coffee mug watermark—a sign of misuse and potential non-visible damage. This item should have been graded "Fair" or "Satisfactory," not "Excellent." When I sought a remedy (a price adjustment for the accurate condition, or an exchange), I was subjected to unbelievable unprofessionalism by "Manager" Ben. Ben's response was a masterclass in gaslighting. He refused to acknowledge the coffee mark as a problem, insisting I should be "grateful" for the price based on the original $1400 retail price of a two-year-old model. He was actively dishonest, prioritizing the defense of a false product rating over consumer integrity. When I asked for a manager, he confirmed he was the manager and then threatened to "sever the business relation." Verdict: Best Buy Beaverton's QC for their open-box "Excellent Condition" is dangerously overrated and deceptive. Furthermore, the store manager's behavior is toxic and completely unacceptable. This location actively fails consumers. Avoid their open-box deals.

I love it I need for my work everything working good

This is my first macbook and I haven’t stopped using it since I bought it and it was so worth it. I love doing my university work here but also using it for fun!

I used their trade in program and bought this new MacBook and the process was so easy! I loveeee this computer. I mainly use it for gaming and I feel like it runs great!! It’s quick and the graphics are top tier.

This should have been a thing YEARS ago. Not big on Apple but my wife loves this compared to the 13".

Purchased for my friends daughter for her 18th birthday and college, she loves it! She said she is the only one in her friend group with the M3 chip and they were jelly! Thanks Best Buy for a great experience!

I love this MacBook Air it gets the job done for me, the color is also beautiful. It hasn’t had any problems so far except the Apple Music doesn’t work for me sometimes, other than that its great.
