Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the MacBook Air 15-inch Laptop's performance and speed, with many appreciating the larger screen size and outstanding battery life. The laptop's ease of use, lightweight design, and overall aesthetic also receive positive feedback. However, some customers express a desire for more RAM and additional ports, while a few note that the surface easily shows fingerprints.

MacBook M3 chip is slow and weak

Sucks. I thought the M3 chip was supposed to be this great thing! Nope. The laptop sucks. It’s slow. And the chip will only support 1 extra monitor. That’s right only 1. But if you go by an Apple MacBook Air with an Intel chip oh well that can support three monitors. And another thing I don’t like about the MacBook is that it’s not touchscreen. I got $100 Google laptop that’s faster can support multiple monitors touchscreen way better Cant kind of sick of Apple to be honest with you. I would definitely not recommend this laptop to anyone.

The first time I went to Best Buy to get this laptop, they sold me a laptop with a bad battery. The box was all written over and looked damage and when I went to go take it back to Best Buy they gave me the hardest time to exchange the item that was given to me damage as a brand new item. It was a horrible experience. Multiple people didn’t know what they were doing. In fact one girl told me I could take it to the Apple Store and they would exchange it since it’s brand new and I took it to the Apple Store and they don’t exchange things you bought from Best Buy. They’ll take it and fix it and then give it back to you which the Apple guy said that’s not right because it’s supposed to be a brand new item you just bought and this expensive item it’s not cheap , I went to Best Buy to where there were some in stock and they wouldn’t let me borrow a plug. They wouldn’t help me exchange anything. They had the worst customer service. They had me there over an hour trying to figure out how to do something myself kept giving me a hard time about exchanging it for no reason told me I had to make appointments with the geek squad because it was hard to erase the data because the laptop wouldn’t work without being corded and then it wouldn’t turn on sometimes because the battery was so bad , it was the worst laptop didn’t work so just beware when you buy these that they have a bad battery and you get bad customer service from Best Buy even at the other location wasn’t helpful complained and he just looked at me like that’s your problem not mine. I had to literally tell him pretend you just spent almost $2000 on a computer that doesn’t even work within the first 12 hours of you taking it home .

    Self Cracking Screen

After owning the 15 inch mac book air for about 8 months the retina display has what looks like a crack but was never dropped or mistreated in any way. The glass itself is not cracked just looks like it, the "crack" is in a layer under the glass. After a little research it's a common issue and not what I would expect from a $1200 laptop. To have it professionally repaired was as much as a new one so I'm going to buy a new screen and try yt it in myself. Wish me luck :)

Don't buy an 8GB model as Apple has replaced this with 16 GB as the standard for the same price. We were just outside of the return window when this occurred

Apple was actively selling this model as they were killing the 8GB model. When loaded with nothing running it consumed 5 of 8 GB of RAM leaving very little room for the future AI stuff.

I've used macbooks for the last 15 years and this one is by far the worst computer I've ever used. I cannot watch a youtube video without buffering and skipping. When I click a tab there is a 15 to 30 second lag in response time. Even typing out this review the letters are appearing a sentence behind what I've already typed. I don't know if mine is a lemon or if this is the quality of machine apple produces today but this thing was a complete waste of money.

Absolutely terrible. If you are thinking about buying it don’t. Get a new one. This one the outside of it was different colors with a big scratch on the front of it. I returned it the same day that i received it to my local best buy and they forgot to mark it as returned and i am now being charged for a laptop that i brought back.

    Honest M3 Review

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

While the sleek design of the Apple M3 MacBook Air may catch your eye, don't be fooled by its appearance. This overpriced machine lacks the performance to justify its cost. The M3 processor struggles to keep up with some basic tasks, let alone more demanding applications. Save your money and invest in a more capable laptop from a different manufacturer.
