I was shopping for a new laptop on Black Friday and ended up buying a few with the intention to keep only one. This one ended up being my favorite because of the generous storage and large screen coupled with Best Buy's holiday return policy - nice to have for such a big purchase in case anything goes wrong. Compared to the M3 Air 13, 512 SSD, 16 RAM: according to the experts, the newer M3 is about 20% faster than the older M2. This is probably true, but having used both, I could not notice a big difference. In practice, I found the 1TB of storage much more useful. For some reason you can find the M3 with 16 and 24GB RAM, but not more than 512 SSD. Strange. 24GB RAM might be good if you are using Virtual Machines. I was able to migrate all tools from my work PC to it, so I did not need 24GB RAM. Compared to the M2 pro 14, 512 SSD, 16 RAM: the pro has a better keyboard, more ports and significantly better performance. The extra performance means you can even do some gaming in your down time, even though if gaming is important to you I would encourage you to consider a PC or a PS5 on the side (I did the latter). The big disappointment of the Pro 14 is the screen, and there are two major drawbacks to it: 1. Using the screen for a long time gives me headaches and makes my eyes red. After doing a little research, it turns out that this is because the screen turns on and off at a very high frequency in order to save energy. This strategy is called PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and most reviews do warn about this. It's just that they do it in a way to makes you think it's uncommon to be sensitive to it. Both me and my wife are in our 30s with 20/20 vision and have never worn glasses or have had any kind of issues with vision. We are both affected by it. If you're using the Pro 14 for a half hour on the couch, you're probably fine. However, if you expect to get through a full day of work, I would strongly encourage you to stick to the Air. This reason disqualified the Pro 14 for me. By the way, the Pro 16 has the same problem so if you are buying a laptop to get real work done either of the Pros are a no from me. 2. M2 Pro 14 is significantly worse for productivity than a 15" screen. Really the M2 pro 14 is closer to the M3 Air 13 in terms of the amount of information you can see. To be more specific, in my coding editor of choice, vim, I can see 43 lines on the M3 Air 13, 44 lines on the M2 pro 14, and 51 lines on the M2 Air 15. Then if you are trying to split the screen to look at two files at the same time, 15" is really the only one where this is usable. You could get the 13" air and use the extra cash towards a large monitor. A lot of people from work did this. I wanted to be able to work while I am traveling and also the 1TB storage, so I went for the 15" configuration. Hope this review helps. Cheers!

Display and Audio: 5/5 The 15" Retina display is stunning, delivering vibrant colors and sharp details. Whether I'm watching movies, editing photos, or working on documents, the display consistently impresses. The audio quality is equally impressive, offering clear and immersive sound for both work and entertainment. I love this 15" Macbook Air M2 laptop! It's light and super fast! Great Battery life! The midnight black color is great! I got the upgraded RAM and storage. This is my go to computer so I should be set for the next 10 years I'm hoping. Would highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking to replace their old Apple Macbook Pro.

This computer is excellent! I picked it up from the store, and it was in perfect condition. The packaging is well-designed, with tissue paper to protect the screen from cosmetic issues. Setting up the computer took less than five minutes, consisting of logging in with my Apple ID and selecting preferences from a few screens. Everything about this computer exudes quality, from the thoughtfulness and simplicity of the design to the premium materials and manufacturing tolerances to the clarity and ease of use of the software. Unlike a Windows PC or laptop, there are no advertisements or purchase prompts in the software, and it defers to your selected preferences rather than constantly recommending you make changes. This particular model, the MacBook Air, runs so efficiently that it does not require fans to keep the electronics cool; it is blissfully and impressively silent, even when performing incredibly processor-intensive tasks. I recommend it highly for anything except for gaming. The screen is large and deliciously sharp; the colors are clear, accurate, and bright; the speakers sound amazing, which, as far as I'm concerned, must be witchcraft, as they are completely hidden. This particular color (Midnight) seems to be very prone to showing fingerprints, so definitely consider a different color or a skin or case of some kind if that is undesirable to you. Overall, this computer is practically perfect as a portable laptop, and I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone, especially if you're looking for something to run creative software on (music, photo, or video editing). The best compact professional MacBook/Laptop for the price. The M series MacBook is outstanding, specially on MacBook Air, without burdening too much cooling technologies, this can handle many tough job without sacrificing performance. The best part of this 15 inch laptop is not only performance and efficiency but also the battery performance. Who can beat this performance with efficiency and battery life. I bought this one year old M2 series (from 13 inch M1) and I love this, the bigger screen is very helpful for my software development work. I don’t have worry about charging it for 2 days of working hours, very top notch apple revolution on laptop. The magnetic charging port is the coolest part compared to my previous M1 MacBook Air. Definitely recommend my friends and family on this product.

I been having for a while now for college and its been amazing and fast with apps, some stuff that i like is. •Keyboard its not loud. •Battery last a lot I could go all day with it. •Screen is bright and perfect size not to small or big for 15”. •The speakers are loud and sound really great. •It doesn’t weigh to much I dont even feel I’m carrying a MacBook in my backpack. •Love how I can unlock it with my apple watch or my finger, and not have type my password. •Webcam quality is great for zoom or facetime, and microphone quality is great too. •Games, even though its not meant for gaming something I like playing some games when im bored at school and its great, obviously I dont play AAA games since it would be demanding for a macbook air but for RPG 2D games or Starcraft 2 with medium high graphics goes smooth, at first temperatures were a little bit hot the first times I was playing and testing games, but then after many times playing it wouldn’t even get hot and would always stay cool, and by hot I mean a little but warm not crazy hot. One thing that I dont like is since I have the midnight color it gets some finger prints, but overall my experience with this MacBook air 15” is been great, for school-productivity, and even running some photoshop, I recommend it. *I got the MacBook air 15” Midnight color, 16 GB ram, 1tb storage. *

I purchased this product because of many reasons - Apple. brand, MacBook Air model, M2 Chip, High RAM and 1TB sufficient storage device. All these in an affordable price. The weight of the laptop is light which makes it convenient to carry and use. Overall it's the best valued Apple Product.

If you are reading this review, you have probably already watched several YouTube vids on this magnificent device. It's an Apple product, so for me that means that two things are absolutely true. It's an excellent and well-made product and it's a bit on the pricey side. I originally bought the MacBook Air 15 with 16GB of unified memory and a 512 SSD. However, after the M3 came out and this device became available with 1TB of storage, and the price dropped, I knew I had to get it in Starlight and I am not mad about my choice. The Air is a great companion. I have travelled with it, worked at coffee shops and libraries. It is so light and easy to carry. What I love most and the main reason I bought it, the battery life! I pretty much get all-day battery when I do anything on it. I don't consider myself a content creator, but I plan to run a podcast and edit videos and I'm excited about the idea of doing these tasks on the go with this machine. If you want something with a little more power and storage, I would recommend the MacBook Air 15 M2 with 1TB.

I love love love my new laptop. I had the 2018 macbook air & it would over heat, with the fan turning on, constant notifications saying im using to much energy on just web browser. So i was traumatized! However, so far this was the best investment. I got the 15in , 16 ram, and 1tb & it moves so smoothly. Im video editing or using google docs for many hours and ive no issues. The size is pretty big which i like because i can see more, but i wonder how convient it will be to carry out. May not be as portable. The battery life is amazing as well!!

If you want to have two, you will need an upgraded processor that will support, or purchase an external adapter that will support.
