First time to use Mac. I used iPhone for many years. The similarities between them made it easier to adapt.

My M1 macbook gave up *surprise* on the two year birthday of it, so I traded it in for this. I did not know that they switched from 2 smaller SSDs to 1 large making this M2 mac 46 % slower than my old one, so jokes on me. I do feel it and it sucks, but that's what Apple does best isn't it. Also the display is extremely dim which is annoying. So many things are annoying about this product and all Apple products. They are all so contained that it feels like it's not yours, you're just borrowing it from Apple. Whatever, battery life and build quality is really good and all and all I am happy with my purchase, just know there are incredible options out there if you don't like monopolies.

great computer. but lacking memory. runs slow when doing any intensive programs.

Honestly, it's a fantastic laptop but don't buy it from BestBuy. I got this laptop during the Christmas season when everything was on sale and honestly I should have bought it from literally anywhere else. I bought this for research and school, so I didn't use my speakers for the first month I had the laptop. I wish I knew the return period was only a few weeks. By the time I tried to watch a show on it 4 weeks later I was outside the return window so even though the speakers sounded tinny and static-y there was nothing to do. Now 3 months later I turned on my laptop and it plays no sound at all. How disappointing. This is a lemon and now I have to just take it up with Apple and hope they'll fix it because Best Buy refuses. Will never buy such an expensive product from here again... just go to the source or literally anywhere else.

Runs super smooth and quick but the base of the laptop is too big. Prefer the 13 inch instead

Light and fantastic looking, lacks performance for Microsoft related products, takes too long to open apps.

Love the computer but there is little bit of a learning curve going from a PC to a Mac.

My daughter brought this because her Mac Pro someone sat on and messed up the screen

Not as fast as my 2015 laptop. Don't always receive emails if my email is on a "mailing list."

I wanted to get away from MS Windows for a long time, yet the Apple OS is extremely frustrating. Too many 3 button commands to remember, and simple copy and paste with Ctrl C and V does not work. I've had a chat with Apple support several times over the past 2 weeks, and was told that the Apple OS doesn't do that on way too many questions. It's similar to Android and iPhone where Android lets you customize and have more functionality. I was able to make the switch to iPhone several years ago, yet a Mac based computer is too frustrating. Also 8GB RAM memory is not enough, as this would constantly slow down when I had Fidelity software open at the same time as a Safari Browser. I was told by Apple that the solution is not to use both at the same. time.

Great system but the midnight color is a horrible fingerprint magnet

smudges is an issue, can't connect to a second monitor is an issue, rest is fine
