Almost everything I could wish for in a laptop.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this computer up until the day ot was stolen out of my car. Stunning display, great battery life, fast, thin and light. It also runs so cool that it doesn't require a fan. I just wish it had a built-in apple airtag. Applecare+ doesn't cover stolen computers and the computer tracking only works while the computer is on and connected to WiFi.

Great buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have an Ipad and an Iphone 14 pro and decided, why not get a MacBook? I have been using my jobs old Dell laptop for 2 years because my personal HP Laptop became way to slow, so I thought it was time to give myself an early Christmas gift. I first I debated between the 13 and 15 inch. After looking at them in person, I knew that I had to get the 15 inch. I have to admit, I got a little frustrated at first, but after I took a deep breath and looked up a few things, it got easier and easier to use. I also bought me a wireless mouse which was a game changer for me. I recommend this laptop for anyone thats looking for something sleek, fast, and reliable.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip is an impressive blend of power, portability, and design. Despite its large display, it feels very thin and lightweight, making it easy to carry around for school, work, or travel. Performance is where the M2 chip really shines. Everyday tasks like web browsing, note-taking, photo editing, and even light video editing run smoothly and quietly thanks to the fanless design. Battery life is excellent, easily lasting a full day of use without needing a charge. macOS feels fast and optimized, and features like Touch ID and the responsive Magic Keyboard make daily use convenient and comfortable. Overall, the MacBook Air 15-inch M2 is a fantastic choice for students and professionals who want a large screen without sacrificing portability. Stellar Performance and Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to replace our outdated and lacking HP laptop. Jumping back into a Mac, we were quickly amazed at the performance and new looks of a MacBook. We both had 13” MacBook Pros for college and still have them. To experience this type of longevity firsthand, I knew a new Mac was towards the top of the list. Love everything from Touch ID, the force Trackpad, 10-Core GPU, USB-C ports, etc. We sure did miss the backlit keyboard for working in low light settings! The M2 was far more responsive than other options that I had tested. The screen is nothing short of incredible and will not disappoint. The battery life is amazing out of the box but only time will tell as efficiency may decrease with age. That being said, battery will last you throughout multiple projects across multiple days. I did test both the 13” and 15” and concluded the larger screen went a long way. I would choose a higher capacity of RAM if you think you would ever need it as this is not able to be upgraded after the fact. If you are in the market for a new machine, I believe the MacBook Air with the M2 chip belongs on your list.

Sleek, Powerful, and Surprisingly Capable
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Last year I upgraded to the 15" MacBook Air with the M2 chip in Starlight, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. Apple has managed to strike a perfect balance between performance, design, and portability with this machine. What I love: Gorgeous 15" Display: The larger screen is perfect for productivity and entertainment. It's bright, sharp, and makes multitasking a joy without the extra bulk of a MacBook Pro. M2 Chip Performance: The M2 processor handles everything I throw at it with ease—whether it’s video calls, photo editing, web browsing, or running multiple apps at once. It's fast, smooth, and impressively quiet (no fan noise!). Starlight Finish: The Starlight color is subtle and elegant, offering a fresh look that stands out without being flashy. Superb Battery Life: I consistently get a full day of use on a single charge. It's reliable, especially for travel or remote work. Ultra-Slim and Lightweight: Even with the bigger screen, it's still incredibly thin and easy to carry around—perfect for students and professionals alike. Built for Apple Intelligence: It's ready for the next generation of Apple’s AI-powered features, making it a future-proof investment. Minor Note: While 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage are enough for everyday tasks, those who do heavy multitasking or media work might consider upgrading the specs. Verdict: The 15” MacBook Air with M2 is an ideal choice for users who want a larger screen, powerful performance, and Apple’s signature design—all in a lightweight package. It’s a beautiful, efficient, and smartly built machine. ⭐ 5/5 stars – Stylish, capable, and an absolute pleasure to use.

Excellent everyday laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a 15 inch MacBook Pro for 14 years. It has been useful until where I couldn't display anything on Safari anymore. It was time to finally buy a new laptop. My preference in a laptop is that it has to have at least a 15 inch screen. So I was set on saving for a MacBook Pro. Then came the announcement of the MacBook Air in the 15 inch size. It had everything I needed in a laptop and the price was more than reasonable to me. This laptop has shown me that a lot has changed over my 14 year old MacBook Pro. While this isn't a graphics powerhouse, it nails the fundamentals on what a modern laptop should be. It's very lightweight and portable, has excellent battery life, beautiful screen, great sound, and the performance is insanely fast at this price point. My view on a laptop is the same when it comes to buying a TV. The bigger, the better. Apple happened to make a laptop that has a great size screen yet happens to be just a portable as smaller laptops in the market. Although the price of one of these is higher than other laptops of this screen size, I feel that price is more than fair considering that there are iPhones more expensive than this. Great everyday laptop? This is the one to get!

Its seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem enhances my workflow, while the Magic Keyboard and large trackpad offer comfort and precision. As a longtime MacBook user, I was eagerly awaiting the release of this new model, and it has truly delivered an exceptional computing experience. Design and Build Quality: First and foremost, the design of the MacBook Air 15" is sleek, elegant, and unmistakably Apple. The lightweight aluminum chassis feels incredibly premium, and the slim profile makes it highly portable without sacrificing durability. The attention to detail in every aspect of the design, from the precision-engineered hinge to the seamless integration of ports, showcases Apple's commitment to craftsmanship. Display: The 15" Retina display is nothing short of stunning. With vibrant colors, deep blacks, and razor-sharp clarity, every image and video comes to life on this screen. Whether I'm editing photos, watching movies, or working on documents, the display offers an immersive viewing experience with excellent brightness and contrast levels. Performance: The highlight of this MacBook Air is undoubtedly the M2 chip, and it does not disappoint. The performance gains over previous generations are immediately noticeable, with lightning-fast processing speeds, smooth multitasking, and seamless transitions between apps. Whether I'm running intensive software tasks or multitasking with dozens of browser tabs open, the M2 chip handles everything with ease. Battery Life: Battery life has always been a strong suit of the MacBook Air lineup, and the M2 chip takes it to the next level. With optimized power efficiency and intelligent performance management, I can easily get through a full day of work or entertainment on a single charge. Whether I'm working remotely, traveling, or attending meetings, I have peace of mind knowing that my MacBook Air will keep up with my busy lifestyle. Keyboard and Trackpad: The Magic Keyboard and Force Touch trackpad are a joy to use. The backlit keys provide a comfortable typing experience with just the right amount of tactile feedback, making long typing sessions a breeze. The trackpad is spacious, responsive, and incredibly accurate, allowing for precise cursor control and intuitive multi-touch gestures. Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, the MacBook Air 15" offers a versatile range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-C, headphone jack, and an SD card reader. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of peripherals and accessories, making it easy to connect external displays, storage devices, and more. Conclusion: Overall, the Apple MacBook Air 15" with M2 chip is a game-changer in the world of laptops. It combines cutting-edge technology, premium design, and exceptional performance to deliver an unparalleled computing experience. Whether you're a professional creative, a student, or a casual user, this MacBook Air sets a new standard for what a laptop can achieve. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a high-performance, ultra-portable laptop.

Fall in love with 15inch MacBook Air
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Mac 15 computer is pretty much perfect. It's light, it's sleek. Its fast. It's actually made me enjoy using a computer again. I got the midnight color and honestly, fingerprints aren't any worse with this color vs any other color. Yes, they are present, but a quick wipe erases them. And then you've got the best looking computer in the coffee shop. Looking at you, you young professional at the coffee shop. Looking so cool. If you've read any reviews on these computers you'll hear all of them conclude with this: If you're like 90% of people and use their computer for normal things like checking email, writing, using regular apps, basic movie / music editing. Then this is the best computer for you. Why look anywhere else? The screen is huge. The laptop is light. It looks legit. The keyboard is great. The speakers are reasonable. The FaceTime camera is great. If you're life is editing movies then you probably already know that this M2 processor will do the job for you, but it'll come at a cost. The MacBook Air m2 processor is meant for efficiency, but it's not going to export as fast as a pro m2. In saying that..this processor is so much faster than anything in the past 5 years that even if you're used to having a pro computer, and its a few years old, you'll still find yourself with a very capable machine. I was between this and an iPadPro. I went with this because until apple gets its act together an iPad is still an iPad. Anybody who tells you they use it for their daily driver has done a lot work to learn how to navigate the iPad OS to make it work like a MacBook. If you want something cool to look at pictures, browse the internet, do some writing, maybe some call of duty mobile - then get an iPad. If you want a computer. Get a MacBook Air. If you're a heavy gamer, or do a ton of video editing (like your whole workflow) Then get a MacBook Pro 14 air 16 inch. They are incredible, but not something most people will need. For what it's worth, I do video editing with this M2 machine and for me it works great. I don't mind waiting an extra 10min on an hour long project to export. The experience while I edit is still super smooth, I just need to wait a bit once I'm done to view my finished product.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 2012 Dell XPS 13 and everything about this laptop is a major step above. Screen Quality is amazing. Battery life is the best I have ever seen. I'm easily getting through the whole day with one charge. This laptop is very thin and light. I only need this laptop for surfing online, paying bills, and consuming media. I've heard that the M2 can do some gaming and light video editing but I don't use it for that purpose. If your looking for a laptop to take to class with a battery life that will last all day, look no further. I highly recommend this laptop

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MacBook Air 15" with M2 chip is a nice laptop with good size, weight, and speed. Battery life lasts most of the day. Great for normal browsing or using apps. Memory is only 8GB so struggles with too many browser windows open and trying to perform more complicated video heavy or AI tasks. Overall a nice machine for most users but go with Pro or more memory if you are a heavy user in development or video.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extra 2inches equal to about 25% more screen area, compared to the 13inch MBA. And it's significant. The extra size means, whatever app or work case that you had to put in full screen on a 13inch MBA, you can now have it only take up 75% of the screen, still retain the same size of that app, and still have all that breathing room on the sides for like a support app. (Like browsing web as you would full-screen on a 13inch, but still have room for a side bar to place the mini-music player that displays lyrics, and then a post-it, or calendar app, right below that) The speakers also sound significantly fuller and better than the 13 inch. The 15 incher is also significantly thinner and lighter than the 14inch Pro (and much more so than the 16inch Pro). The best feature of this for me personally, and it's not something that Apple ever advertised, is that the screen uses DC - direct current. Meaning it's going to be the most flicker-free, easy on the eyes screen in Apple's line-up. The Macbook Pro with MiniLED, uses PWM with really low frequency, that results in flickering. This induces severe eye strain and headaches to people who are sensitive to it. The effect varies from person to person, so some would be fine, some would feel more tired after using the Mini LED, and others cannot tolerate for more than 5 minutes (like me). The Macbook Air (15 and 13 both)'s screen is just one of the best Apple has ever put out, in terms of eye-comfort. (compared to Intel macbook Pros, iMacs, Studio Display, iPhone screen, etc etc) I wish the basic config had 16GB RAM and 512 storage. The 14-inch MBP with 16 512 can be found on sale all the time for $1200-ish. It's hard to justify paying $1400+ for this Air to have the same RAM and Storage, when the MBP gives so much more. Fans (active cooling to allow more power), brighter screen, better speakers, etc etc. The Air just remains so so basic, even when you trim up to the $1800 levels. You only get a bit more RAM and storage, but same processing power and same Air experience. It's not like you can get a M2 Pro or M2 Max chip on it, because it's fan-less it can never sustain those powerful CPUs. But still, for everything casual to moderately productive work, this base Air can handle with ease. It'll look good and perform great on the desk or on the go.
