    This is the laptop that is best for most people. It does everything you need done well. This is the one to get unless you are doing heavy video work or gaming (don’t game on a Mac)

    Great price and excellent computer. If ever i am searching for something that is good quality but open box or refurbished, i wouldnonly come to best buy for that.

    The 4 star review is because the hardware purchased from Best Buy is fine. The MAC OS (14 - Sonoma) has some "features" I don't care for. For instance, being able to sync my calendar through the finder no longer works, even though Apple claims it does. Getting it to synch through the cloud has been an ordeal as well, and isn't over yet. So far, I have invested 13 hours of phone calls with Apple support and we're not finished. This is the first time (of many) that just restoring from a Time Machine backup didn't have me up and running almost immediately. Again - not the fault of anything from Best Buy.
