Love it for this but because of this no cooling system built in very much for simple task, not large video editing if you want that and need a laptop consider a windows alternative youll get more bang for your buck but if you insist on a mac go pro. That being said I only bought this one instead of the pro because I needed it now.

Personally, I do not like it. I miss my cheap basic laptop, where I understand how to navigate the apps and tabs and windows. I also prefer Microsoft Word which I can't get on Apple apparently. I bought this laptop for college classes and as a new student, I was more frustrated trying to learn the ins and outs of a new computer than I was learning the material I needed to for each course. If you're smarter than I am and enjoy learning new technology, you may end up liking it.

It's a game changing experience. The batteries last forever and after a few days I'm comfortable with the system. Trying to get use to the fact that there is "only" two ports and they are usb-c, but it is a wonderful machine.
