Amazing work from home device for project managers

Love my new MacBook Air but have subsequently had a TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Price Match Guarantee Not Honored Due to BB System Limitations I purchased a MacBook Air at the Wilmington NC BB on 2/29/24 for $1,199.00. I also purchased a My Best Buy Total membership. One of the many benefits is an extended 60-day return/exchange window. On 3/15/24, the MacBook Air price was reduced to $1,099.99. I called BB customer service to request a Price Match. The rep was extremely knowledgeable and quickly processed a $99.01 credit to my credit card. The rep also indicated that I would be entitled to a further price match if the price was reduced further. It was one of the most satisfactory interactions I had with any customer service rep on the phone in quite some time. On 4/8/24, the MacBook Air price was further reduced to $1,049.00. I called customer service again to request a Price Match of $50.99. After being placed on hold for an extended period, the rep informed me that his system would not allow him to process the second price match. He instructed me to go to the store where I would be able to get the price match. On 4/9/24, I returned to the Wilmington BB for the price match. The customer service cashier attempted to process the credit but encountered the same system limitation. I returned home and verified that I was entitled to a second price match. On the BB website where the Price Match guarantee is explained, there is a set of FAQ’s, one of which reads “If all other price match criteria are met, you can price match multiple times during the return and exchange period”. I called customer service again. After explaining the situation and requesting a price match, the representative encountered the same system limitation. After an extended period on hold, the rep told me she was transferring me to another department but insured me they would be able to process the price match. After a brief discussion with the second rep and being placed on an extended hold, he too ran into the same system limitation and suggested I return to the store for assistance. On 4/10/24, I returned to the Wilmington store and spoke with the store’s Team Leader. He attempted to process the credit and reconfirmed the system limitation. He proposed that I return the MacBook Air for $1,099.99 and he would then sell me the same laptop for $1,049.00. Since I did not have the laptop with me and I do not live nearby, I suggested that he provide a gift card in the amount of $50.99. He said that he could not do that. I left the store totally disappointed and dissatisfied. After two lengthy customer service calls and two visits to the store, not one person said I wasn’t entitled to the second price match. But no one had the authority/willingness to override the system or provide the credit in a way that was convenient to me, the customer. This will be my last BB purchase.

Bought this after using a windows based gaming laptop for many years. Extremely happy with the product so far. The lightweight design is definitely a huge bonus along with the competitive processing.

it appears to work fine but the instructions for set up suck. Hell, I can not even get the mouse set up that I bought with it.

Love it one of the best computers on the market right now

Its been one year since I bought it. The only issue I have noticed is some glitches when I connect to a monitor.

The material used for the body shows fingerprints all over when touched just during normal use. It seems had to just keep it clean. That’s just a cosmetic issue.
