The 4 star review is because the hardware purchased from Best Buy is fine. The MAC OS (14 - Sonoma) has some "features" I don't care for. For instance, being able to sync my calendar through the finder no longer works, even though Apple claims it does. Getting it to synch through the cloud has been an ordeal as well, and isn't over yet. So far, I have invested 13 hours of phone calls with Apple support and we're not finished. This is the first time (of many) that just restoring from a Time Machine backup didn't have me up and running almost immediately. Again - not the fault of anything from Best Buy.

Upgraded from early 2015 Macbook Pro 13. What an upgrade. Very comparable to my M1 Macbook Pro with performance.

So far so good, amazing battery life, hasn’t struggled with anything I have thrown at it so far. Very happy with my purchase.
