A quality Mac. It is just what I needed. My MacBook Pro just gave out. I had that for 13 years. Best laptop ever

The battery life is amazing the performance is overall great better then my last MacBook

Right now when I use it, its not bad. However i do prefer a more stronger and powerful computer. But overall it is good for school so I would take it. I also recommend others to buy this product.

Performance: The A18 Pro with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU is fast, much faster than you’d expect for something in this class. Web browsing, Office apps, coding, and even light photo/video work are smooth. It’s also incredibly efficient, so battery life is excellent (easily a full workday and then some). Design & Portability: The Indigo color is a nice touch, subtle but premium. The device is thin, light, and feels solid, making it ideal for travel or working remotely. Apple’s build quality is exactly what you’d expect. Display & Experience: The 13-inch display is sharp and vibrant, great for productivity and media. macOS runs flawlessly on Apple silicon, and everything feels instant. Where it falls short: * 8GB RAM is the biggest limitation. It’s fine for general use, but if you’re doing heavier multitasking, virtualization, or development work, you’ll feel the ceiling pretty quickly. * 256GB storage is also on the low side, manageable with cloud storage, but tight for local workflows. * Limited upgradeability (as expected with Apple). Bought this laptop to replace my father-in-laws aging windows laptop. He has never used macos before and is not finding it difficult to switch. Screen, body, keyboard and trackpad are excellent at this price point. He is not a power user, so web browsing, youtube, other streaming services work just fine, no performance issues. Size/weight are great for portability, charge lasts all day for him. I won't dock it for not having backlit keyboard, or lack of Thunderbolt 4 ports. Overall excellent entry into macos, and father-in-law loves it.
