This Mac is a great way to enter the Apple ecosystem without the premium cost of other Macs. It has the excellent Apple fit and finish, good color options, with the right compromises to get this low price. The MacBook Neo is a small, lightweight and low-priced option to get the macOS experience, works great with an external display and my other Apple devices. I got the higher end model for the extra storage and Touch ID. It is not ideal power users or heavy content creators, but it is great for students, content consumers and remote workers. An overall great budget laptop for those who can't afford the higher end macOS laptops.

This has been a great addition to my workflow. It’s lightweight, easy to carry around, and perfect for remote admin work, email, documents, scheduling, and everyday productivity. I have a Mac mini at home for heavier tasks, but adding this MacBook Neo has been well worth the cost. It feels like Apple finally made a great Chromebook alternative while still giving you the quality, ecosystem, and ease of use that comes with a Mac. I’ve liked it so much that I’m buying a second one for my kids’ homeschool work.

I love this laptop!! It’s fast, easy to use, lightweight but sturdy. It does everything I need it to as a busy, working mom of 3!

So far everything’s been fantastic with it. The only thing that I would like is for my keyboard to light up that’s one downside to it, but other than that, the computer is phenomenal.

Great keyboard, lightweight, easy to carry. I have been a pc user for years, recently started using and iPad and found it a nice transition. Figured it was time to upgrade from pc to MacBook. The only thing I keep missing is the touch screen. My pc/laptop both have touch screens, as does my iPad. It's a HUGE thing for me to change my way of working to mousing or typing EVERYTHING. If I could change ONE THING on the MacBook Neo... I would add the touch screen. Otherwise, it's darn near perfect and great for the price.

This is perfect for me as I’m a lightweight when it comes to computer time, and didn’t need a very powerful one, nice color, Thumbs up Apple

Great computer for simple home use. I browse internet and listen to music. It’s fast and pretty. I don’t miss the lighted keyboard. Transferring info was easy too.

I got this laptop for school work and so far it's been very reliable and easy to use. The battery life is very convenient.

I have never owned a macbook or any mac for that fact, but this budget macbook has exceeded my expectations. It has been my daily driver for about a month and will continue to use it for a long time. I am beyond pleased for what I use it for. Its worth it.

I’m so in love with my computer. I’m currently a medical assistant in nursing student and it is working great with my courses so far. I love how light it is easy to put away. My favorite color is pink, so I’m just glad that I was able to get it in pink. very compatible. Pairs well with all my other Apple devices.

I purchased my MacBook Neo about a month ago. I have heard about MacBooks, but wasn’t too sure if I should purchase one for school.. so happy I did so angry at myself for taking so long to buy Mac products. I got what I expected. Perfection..

I’m loving my Neo so far. I use it for basic things — managing my online store, checking emails, watching shows, notes, Canva and organization. I haven’t experienced any lags or display issues. The sound is decent as well. One star off for battery life, it could be better, especially if used for watching shows. Otherwise it’s great.

I haven’t come up against anything yet that this new MacBook Neo can’t handle. I use it for both personal and a travel friendly work laptop, so I can leave by massive / heavy 17” laptop plugged into its dock when I’m away from the office. I’m running 8+ tabs in safari, mail, music, messages, Teams, word, excel and PowerPoint at the same time. No problemo. Save your $$ and just get this. I do recommend spending a bit more to get the fingerprint reader and extra storage. The blue color is nice and classy but not boring.

Best entry level laptop bang for buck for “daily driving” that doesn’t need a heavy workload. Perfect for work that doesn’t require intensive software. Perfect for media consumption! Connects easily with Apple TV aswell!

I’m so incredibly happy with this laptop. If you’re an iPhone user looking to switch from PC to Mac and just need something for basic work, this is a great laptop. I’m able to run my small business from it without issue. I love that I can wirelessly connect to my iPad as an extended screen, and of course the seamless way all devices in the Apple ecosystem work together. The phone mirror option is super convenient. And in addition to business I’m able to play Sims4, edit content for social media and build and host my website.
