small and compact.. great for classes. light in weight and portable. Skimpy on the display, and ram. Not as flashy display as the retina models. not happy with the lack of ports for other external uses. happy with the No Touch Bar aspect. traded in MacBook Pro 2013 model for this one - had class could nt wait on fixing the 2013 model. my advice wait for apple to upgrade with more functional USB ports.

This 16GB RAM version is best portable option for video work. 512GB SSD give you an extended space for video editing. The old i7 CPU is still powerful today 2020 for Final Cut Pro and Adobe suites

I am very pleased with this purchase. It has great speed, reliability and the touch bar works so well for composing documents and filling in forms. We added AppleCare as we like the peace of mind knowing that our laptop is covered.

Love the MacBook Pro. Easy to use and very fast start up speed. Plenty of tutorials or online assistance if I can’t figure something out. Apple care is a great bonus and worth the price, even if I don’t need to use it. Great peace of mind

So, there’s not much to say except this is another example of Apple’s product line quality, improvement & awesomeness! Super easy to set up and use. My last MacBook lasted almost 10 years so I’m looking forward to this laptop making the grade!!!!!

After updating to the current operating system and a bit of coaching from AppleCare, setup and data migration was easy although time consuming when 10K photos have to transfer from my old desktop.It runs like a champ - it's a Mac!

I've waited months to purchase a new MacBook Pro. I'm SOOOOO glad to have my hands back on this computer! My last one was compromised and locked way back in Feb and I've suffered with a PC since then. What a relief to back in a Mac!

Only 3 stars because way too early to give a robust review. The Mac is operating with no issues thus far, came quickly (no stock in store), seems to have scratches/scuffs on outside surface which did not originate from me, little concerning, but not if no hardware issues arise. Was able to buy everything in store, staff decently knowledgeable, supposed to get 10% back in credit for opening a credit card, but not confirmed...that is a decent chunk of change for a purchase this large and worth it.

MacOs is very easy to use and great for security. Its blazing fast speed and high processing power is any programmers delight. It has a georgous display and is great for watching movies and videos. Sound is pretty awesome too.

Does everything expected as well as expected. A high quality upgrade.

I love Mac computers - The only reason I have to get a new one is because I kill the old one,. Dropping, water spillage - they need to make hard drives water proof

I bought this laptop for my wife. She wanted it for work and digital art. Couldn’t be more happy with it. The Rockford store associate was amazing and was able to get us the most more our money. Laptop works flawlessly.

I was upgraded from my Mac Pro 2012 to 2017 pro without Touch Bar. The performance is way beyond my expectations and I didn’t find any issues till date. I would recommend this to you if all you need is best performance.

This is excellent laptop, I used for programming..It will give you feel of linux at the same time apple ecosystem sync is best. Ports are the issue but once you will get used to it, it wont make much differences..

I loved my first MacBook Pro and only bought this one so that my daughter could use my first one at school. In love with how fast it runs and I have no complaints so far. Looking forward to using it for many years.

This is my second MacBook. I truly love how thin and light this one is. At first I didn't like the type of keyboard this has (not sure what it's called, but the keys are not as high as my old Mac Book.) My complaint is more with the person who sold it to me than the computer itself. I was lead to believe that it would be a smarter idea to buy something that had a larger hard drive rather than a faster processor and more RAM. Not being all that computer literate, I now realize it was a good way to push an old model.... For a few dollars more, I could have gotten a Mac that was able to multi task much better and zip through my projects. Since I also bought an external hard drive, I didn't really have to worry about the actual amount of storage. Again, the Mac book itself is nice. Just the same as my OLD one. Should have done more research. (pretty surprised as well, because Best Buy has usually been very good about really exploring all the options when selling something of this price.,.,. perhaps this was and off date for the sales person.
