Customers are saying

Customers praise the MacBook Pro 13.3" for its strong performance, ease of use, and impressive battery life. Many appreciate the keyboard, design, and lightweight portability. However, some customers express concerns about the condition of the pre-owned laptops received and find the price to be high for the included storage and RAM. A few also mention the laptop can get quite warm during use.

Clean lines, easy to set up and use. Fast and dependable. This is my second Mac Book Pro. Bought the 15 inch for me and the 13 inch for my college bound grand-daugher. I also bought the 3 year Black Tie support from Best Buy. They offer a better warranty.

    JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok let me start off by saying this was the largest purchase for a electronic I have ever made. I have always wanted a mac and they have been way out of my price range for a laptop computer. Finally i took the plunge after my Toshiba died on me. Look the reviews can speak for themselves. There is a reason why your starting to see macs everywhere and why so many people are "fan boys". They just are a good computer! If your worried about the learning curve don't. A couple of days is all you need. If your worried about the programs you want to use not being able to run on the operating system well....... there is a little thing called boot camp. RESEARCH! After 2 weeks of testing I can finally say I'm satisfied! Operating System is OUTSTANDING! Do you want a Pinto or a Mercedes...... for a couple of hundred dollars extra? Well worth it my friend I think.

Boots up so fast, easy to use, it's practically idiot proof... love the backlight on the keyboard... size and weight are perfect... transition from PC/Windows was worth the learning curve. Long battery life... AND no worries about viruses!!!

Excellent Unit for both business and pleasure

I have been an avid 'PC Guy' for all my life. After owning high-end Sonys and mid-range Toshibas I decided it was time to change it up - so I bought a Mac. This unit runs great, very fast and quiet. My usage is primarily web applications with a mix of web development programs. I purchased this unit on March 25 and I have not had a glitch since.

I am so glad I went with the MAC as opposed to a PC. It just runs so much faster and smoother and transitions from user to used so much faster.

    Perfect Laptop

It's a Mac, so there's not much to say that most people in the market don't already know. It comes bundled with iLife, and virtually everything you need for a home computer on a rock solid, intuitive operating system. After working in IT for 20 years, and using various PCs running various versions of Windows and Linux, I reached the point in my life where I wanted a trouble-free machine that I wouldn't have to dink with in my own time. That's what a Mac is.

1st off this is an awesome machine! my decision was easy once I put my needs in perspective which was I needed a windows operating system but wanted a mac and thats exactly what I got thx to boot camp, I run windows 7 on bootcamp while enjoying what apple does best, make awesome high quality products like this macbook, I LOVE THIS THING and I will never go back to a regular note book when this is the only machine on the market where you can have the best of both worlds and for that you get what you pay for and you get ALOT!

    Perfect portable

I think everyone else's rating for this computer speak volumes. I'm sure like most shoppers I was debating between this and a 13" MacBook Air. When it came down to it the value of this MacBook Pro far outweighed (pun intended) that of the MBA. 4GB of RAM and an i5? I'm sold. The issue of the Intel onboard graphics is not that big of a deal to me. The 320M in the MBA would be great, especially the 1440x900 resolution. But for getting work done, this machine is so much more powerful than the outdated C2D. Maybe not as snappy as the SSD in the Air, but it's got power! I may upgrade to a SSD in the future, another thing I really like about the MBP. But for now I'm enjoying a great premium laptop at what I consider a great value.

Apple Mac so superior to Windows' Based O/S

I don't know why it took me so long to make the jump from a PC to a MAC. The MAC is more intuitive, quicker, and much easier to use. The applications are diverse and so easy to select with consumer reviews, descriptions, screen shots and other information available with one click. What can I say, my daughter was right! Having the direct help available at the Apple store is great, along with the one-on-one training that is available there.

Great machine worth every penny. Just bought mine today really happy that I waited for the new ones to come out before making my purchase. The increased speed was well worth waiting for. No matter what you are planning on using your computer for this is the perfect machine for you. Very fast and very capable.

    Apple Mac is a Pro

I bought this for my son as a graduation present. Compared to other name brand computers (2) and laptop (1) that we've had, this is by far the best. My son loves his laptop. I have an iMac as well and that too am very satisfied with. The reason for the fair rating in price is because I think that Apple computers are too expensive...period.

I love my new MacBook Pro 13''! This is my first Mac and I love it! I switched because everyone I know with one raves about it and it was time for a new computer AGAIN because of viruses. My MacBookPro is so good looking and fast and so functional. I think they have literally thought of it all. I will never go back to a PC - never! Now I just can't wait to get a Thunderbolt to go with it so I can use my laptop as a desktop when I'm at home!

So user friendly. I need help turning on my cell phone and this computer is so easy to navigate! As a student, the Office for Mac addition was perfect, it's just like Office for Windows so there is no issue converting. This computer thinks like I do, makes things so easy for me. And with a click or a swipe to the right or left, you're off to the next task. HIGHLY recommended.

Really Nice - Apprehensive to Download Lion

I have wanted a Mac Book Pro for quite some time and when my 5 year old Sony VAIO finally took us up on the last rights that we had given it numerous times - the time finally came! I did a bunch of research online and at the store and made the decision to just go with the lower level 13-inch MBP because I was just not sure how much I would use it for anything other than everyday emailing and basic web browsing. After about 6 weeks with the computer I still love it like the first day I brought it home. To me, a first-time Mac owner and a not-so-computer savvy guy, it's sort of fun to learn all of of the subtle nuances of the Mac and its operating systems. Bottom line - I love my MBP and would recommend it to anyone who has "been lured in by Apple's mass-marketing machine" and/or just want a change from a PC. I am apprehensive to download the new Lion operating system as I hear it is very buggy when running Microsoft Office. But will update this review once I get crazy enough to download my free copy.

    Just Good Enough

This product might be good for you if you want something besides a desktop. It is the right way to go, even though its price is also the same as a I Mac. I would only recommend you buying it if you have a Desktop/I Mac, if don't you would really want to consider buying one first. The only thing that i didn't like about it was that it overheats from the bottom left side (A LOT) with a minimum amount of time of surfing the web, i would say like 10 min or so, but besides that it is a good, easy to manage, light, 7hr battery, Nice smooth screen, what else can you ask for? Also if you are thinking about a MacBook Pro vs MacBook Air , Get the Pro 1The MacBook Air Is an Accessory 2MacBook Pro has More Battery 3 Just compare The Memmory

I love my Mac. It works great and I never have problems with it at all. It has fallen off my dorm bed a few times and still works as good as when I first got it. Also, it has great speakers. The speaker quality outweighs that of all my friends' computers that aren't macs. Overall, Its a great computer and well worth the money.

We really wanted a Mac, so we knew we were paying a premium... The screen is great, the performance is very solid, and the trackpad works very well with OS X Lion. This particular model is just like the one with signage out on the table, but with a smaller HD. It was not advertised anywhere, but the sales rep knew about it, and got one down for us. Mac Book Pro under $1000? Good deal!
