First: After you purchase your new mac book go to apple and check to see if you are eligible for any upgrades to software , i.e. new windows interface (or whatever mac calls it, Lion?) I missed my chance b/c I had no idea that mac was giving a free upgrade to the new Lion if you upgraded within 30 days of purchase. Best Buy said nothing to me. =( best buy want to compensate? I definitely am happy with the purchase of my Apple Mac Book Pro 13.3in 2.4 mghz laptop. It is definitely more expensive but everyone I have talked with that owns a a Mac raves on how they don't have issues with them. I cannot review this product on how long it lasts or problems that arise.

This is an outstanding computer. Its powerful fast and does everything I need to do and more. Its far easier and more powerful than any windows machine. The Unix OS and Intel chips make this a truly powerful and stable platform.

Brilliant display. Fast starts less then 20 sec. I'm still new at Mac and still learning more each day. So far everything is grea8!!!!!!

This is my wife computer. She is a graphic designer and this mac is just perfect. Can run all graphics apps without any problem. The size is perfect for travel.

I almost purchased the keyboard with the 10-key, but thought I could get used to using the numbers at the top of the keyboard. What I didn't realize is that the keyboard is also missing all the edit keys except the arrows. No page up, no page down, no end key, no home key, etc. A very good laptop--unless you happen to be an accountant or are using it for home finance applications. Much, much faster than my 9 year old Gateway laptop!!! Still trying to learn Mac--been a Windows user for years.....

I am extremely pleased with the 13" Macbook Pro, Its a breeze to operate and the transition from a PC was effortless. I also purchased the trackpad and bluetooth keyboard. I easily connected the Macbook to my 46" TV, and let me tell you it looks great. Do yourself a favor and get over the price and buy it. Sure you can get a PC for less, but why..... Glad I waited to get OS X.....love the gestures.....and simplicity.

First I got the MBA (macbook air if not familiar) with solid disk, the very new new one....it certainly was very light. When I got the MBA, I thought I could live without a cd player and less hard drive capacity. I gave it two weeks....it went back to the store. I cannot stand being worried about having a number o programs in my laptop and I need my cd player....and having the air as a spider with all the accessories required...naaaah. Welcome MBP. I am happy with you so far!

This computer is amazing. Super fast, tons of great programs come standard and it was a breeze to hook up to the wireless internet and wireless printer.

This is my first Apple computer and it will be the one only kind of computer I buy from now one. It's hard to explain but everything just seems to work better and easier on it compared to a PC.

The ease of switch over from a pc to a mac was definitely not as difficult as it seemed. Rarely gets too hot and has an amazing screen and touch pad. The battery life is also great.

I love this computer!!! so user friendly and everyday i learn something new. when i pay this off... im going to buy one for my mom.

Purchased this MacBook Pro for my husband after his old Windows computer was crashing with viruses. I have the 15" i7 processor and he loved using it. He wanted something a bit smaller for his needs. This computer is very well equipped. The price is a little high but for not having all of the virus headaches it is more than worth it. We have converted to all Apple products in our home and we couldn't be more satisfied!!

I write music as a hobby and this computer does it all. It is fast, and reliable. If you work on any form of media, this is a great device for any artist. Whether it be music creation, video editing, photo production, and/or graphic design. The transfer from PC to Mac has been awesome! I love all the keyboard shortcuts. Everything is so much more stream-lined. If you are considering this purchase, consider no more.

Not as intuitive as people say. Altho easier than "regular PC," I still have not been able to find my way around the MacPro. Ditto with the wireless printer; it's still not operating as a wireless! And all this was to be managed by the Geek Squad before I picked it up. Since my kids haven't been able to "fix" it, I'll have to hit up the local library!

This has been my first Mac since a disastrous experience with the Centris 610. I fell in love with my iPhone, my sister had just bought a MacBook, and my old laptop died. So I bought the MacBook Pro and LOVE IT!! I am learning the Mac way, and this has been a pleasure. I do not miss my PC laptop at all. I look forward to upgrading my kids to MacBooks!

We only had one challenge when we brought the laptop home and that was it wouldn't work with our router (wirelessly or hardwired). We brought it back to Best Buy and they did 'something' and it then worked with Best Buy's wireless. It also worked with my daughter's friends wireless, but still wouldn't work at home. After many troubleshooting phone calls with my carrier (Frontier) it was determined that my router was too old. They immediately shipped out a new one and it worked perfectly. My daughter loves her Mac Book.

Had a Macbook before and upgrade to Pro version. This machine is awesome and definitely the best laptop I have ever owned.

All the feature you need and then some. Battery life is amazing.

Works great, too hot to use on the lap though, I wish there was something they could do about that. Aside from being too hot, a very well thought out product.

Like the title says best thing i have ever seen. Its fast, simple, and you can go deeper into Mac OS if you choose to. Also haven't had a single virus yet.
