I fully recommend the basic MacBook Pro model, specifically over the Air. If you have the money I'd even purchase the i7 Core as well. However, this will REALLY only benefit you if you are doing serious projects (video editing, etc.). In lieu of purchasing this machine at Apple, Best Buy treated me fair and my customer service associate helped me calculate monthly payments prior to financing the product. You'll love it.

This is an execllent laptop and I love how it works with my iPhone and iPad! It works so smooth! My only issue is that it only has two ports on there, requiring me to purchase adapter hubs. Overall, it was a great purchase!

Have always used windows based computer and was reluctant to try the Mac but many friends seem to love theirs and I have to say after a little adjustment it is very easy to use, system loads quickly and really enjoy many features about the Mac over the windows based computer. The newer Mac requires a dongle (which is an extra expense but the only way to use a USB or any ports)- but that's how Apple rolls right?.

I love MacBooks. One of my favorite computers. Very long lasting and run so quick and easy.

I know it is a big purchase, but I could not imagine having any other computer. I don't know how I have gone so long without a Macbook. I never thought I'd be the one to say it. I did extensive researching on laptops before purchasing, and this just seemed to make the most sense. I have had it for a couple of months now and am still learning new features all the time, but I could not be happier with my purchase.

This laptop is amazing. The screen display is great. It charges fully in about an hour and the battery lasts forever. I’m in school and use it for papers and homework. I needed a Mac to run some software for my degree program and it works well for that. I wouldn’t recommend for light surfing on the web because you can find something just as nice for cheaper, but for heavier work loads this product is great.

This computer is a good college laptop. Has enough power to handle photo and video editing, while being light and portable. Solid battery life. Great Screen. One downside is needing adapters to use any of the ports.

as always this apple product is great. The display is amazing easy to use and worry free.

My first apple computer, been a pc user since early 90's, worked on macs long time ago, never really cared for them. I was in the market for a lightweight, light use laptop. I have a ipad air 2 that i have had for almost 3 years i think, and love it. Been a hardcore android user since the beginning and have had a couple iphones in the past but it was so so experience. I Decided to upgrade my phone and got the new iphone xs max and by far best phone i ever owned, and thought a macbook would compliment the ipad and iphone perfectly, and wow, I dont think I have ever been impressed this much with a laptop, or the whole apple ecosystem as a whole. Very nice, and takes a little getting used to, but well worth the switch, especially anyone that has been burned out on the same old laptops and looking to experience something new, you wont be disappointed at all.

This computer is east to use and runs fast. Would get over a Windows computer any day.

I was very hesitant on which MacBook I should buy, the pro or the air. For me, it came down to a $100 difference, so I decided to go with the pro, and I can say I am highly impressed! This is an amazing laptop and it does exactly everything I want it to and more! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is thinking about it! I was hesitant on the keyboard at first, but I have grown to love it!

This is an entry level macbook pro but it is plenty fast and has a great battery life.

Purchased as a travel computer. Very light, portable and beautiful design as well as feel. Computer feels premium and is very responsive. I haven't tasted it all the way yet, but so far battery has been good doing normal pc tasks: word processing, email, etc.
