this is fine for a portable laptop. Its really small. I had to upgrade because I had too many programs to run .perfect for a college student or someone who just uses the internet and checks emails.

With my first MacBook Pro, I am learning some new apps and processes. A bit less user friendly than anticipated, but I am making progress. Bought an external HD, Cables, cases n all sorts of candy for it. Buy yourself one and ENJOY!

Bought this after having had a Mac Book Air for about 7 years. I really liked the Air. What I like about my Mac is the amount of memory and the new programs built into the system. I also bought a external hard drive so storage will never be a problem any more.

I've recently had the Macbook Pro 2012 for seven years and just so happened that mine went out recently and i decided to go to bestbuy for another. I love Macbook's and I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this amazing computer.

This is my first Macbook and i really do love it! I have always done HP but I needed something that would last longer than 2 years so my coworker talked me into it and i love it!!! It's the best laptop I've ever had for college! Highly recommend!!

This computer is great and very easy to use especially for a college students.

I was looking for a second laptop to do work from while I was at home, take traveling, etc. I tried both the older and newer macbook airs and found that neither was quite up to the tasks I had. The cheapest macbook pro turned out to be the perfect fit, though definitely a little pricier. Other down sides are a little bit lackluster battery life (probably due to its retina screen that I don't really care about) and the fact that it's considerably more expensive to get over 128gb of memory.

I bought this laptop as a gift for a graduate student who had always used a HP laptop in the past. She loved it and says it has many different options. Although she loved her former HP laptop, She says that this is the best computer she ever had!

If you really like iPhones I would recommend this. You can ultimately do just about everything you can do on it and more.

I decided I wanted to get the MacBook experience and an extremely happy with this laptop. If I ever need to do any casual creative work, I definitely can but if that's what you do for a living, I'd say save for a Touch Bar version.

I purchased the Apple MacBook Pro 13" to use for college schoolwork. Since graduating from college, I have continued using the device every day. 10/10 recommend for college students, young professionals, etc.!

I love my laptop! It’s perfect for school. At first, I was disappointed that it wasn’t touch screen but it doesn’t matter to me anymore. The internet speed is extreme fast and the picture quality is amazing. I love everything about this laptop.

Have been wanting a MacBook for some time. The MacBook Pro is great for editing software such as Lightroom and photoshop! At first it was weird coming from windows. But i got use to it. Love that it’s compatible with all my apple devices.

I love my MBP, it’s very thin and feels great. Would recommend it to all students who need a laptop for college.

Went shopping for my first laptop... and this was the one I bought! I’m so happy I did! You really don’t need a touchbar. I’m glad I bought a laptop that can do many things. This is great for video editing. Watching movies on this is awesome.

Love this computer. I had a PC and had so many problems with it so switched to MacBook Pro about 8 years ago and I've never turned back! My first MacBook Pro just started having issues after 8 years (!!!!) so I bought this model and LOVE IT!

I love that my keys have light for when I do homework at night this is my first MacBook, and its great. My previous laptop had no light on the keys at all which made things difficult to finish. I also got $100 off with my student discount which is also great .

This is my 3rd Apple Computer, my wife and I each have one and now I need one for my business. I never considered a PC. After being in the Apple environment with our computer, phones and tablets I would never go to any other system.

By far the best computer I’ve ever bought. Wanted one for years and I’m so happy I finally broke down and got one. Impeccable quality, feel, and performance. There’s a reason Apple costs more.... you certainty get what you pay for.
