Even though I've only had it a couple of days I can honestly say unless something goes wrong this laptop is amazing. From the Mac OS to all its features I am still learning it is top notch. No need to go to Genius Bar for class just look on youtube and you can find anything. The SSD hard drive to intel i5 7th generation chip to battery life makes this laptop a 5 star review. Sure nothings perfect and you can write a negative review on any product out there but this is about close to perfect as you can get.

Bought this for the wife. She was ha ing issues using facetime and imessage. I had to spend hours with tech support trying to get it fixed.

I had no idea that OS was any different than IOS. It looks like Apple would have made the iPhone and the apple MacBook more compatible. This computer six. I can not do anything on it that I need to do. I run a business, but you can’t with this computer along with your iPhone. Looks like employees at Best Buy would have told me how incompatible those two were. Sad. I bought a 2000 dollar computer that Best Buy will not take back.

Great computer but caught viruses fast so now stuck with search engine which is a virus and I can’t get it off

This laptop is exceptionally fast and wonderful for both business and entertainment. The 128gb storage might seem a bit thin for some, but is you push a lot into the cloud like I do it is not an issue. The screen is wonderful to look at, with bright colors and a clarity that is hard to beat. Processing power is fast for all applications.

I was super excited when I purchased this laptop. But when I got home my excitement went straight out the window. It took forever for it to just load up, when the screen went on save mood I had to restart the whole loading process over. When it did load the apps moved so slow. Long story short the internet worked for one day and I was back in best buy switching it out for a new one.

Ideal User for this product: This product can be used by a large variety of different individuals, ranging from a middle school student to a big business executive. Especially individuals who currently already own other Apple products such as an I-Phone or I-Pad. It has everyday features like access to the internet, apps, games, I tunes, I movie, etc. While also having more advance features for school, or even a professional career. Such as, being compatible with Microsoft programs like excel, power point, and word. Evaluation Criteria: Over the years I have used a number of different computers including both PC’s, and MacBook’s. I have learned that the key features to make a computer stand out are the display, processor, storage, and design. Pros: The MacBook Pro has many unique aspects that separate it from other computers on the market. The 2017 MacBook pro is equipped with a 256 GB SSD which allows plentiful space to store my projects, music, movies, games, and photos. Also, the computer has one of the fastest processors on the market saving those precious seconds on a busy school day. The most unique feature on the MacBook Pro is its sleek sophisticated design. The computer is very thin and light; while also, feeling sturdy. In fact, it is so light sometimes when I’m walking to class I actually get worried I forgot my laptop at home. Cons: The biggest road block I faced in my decision to purchase a new MacBook pro was the price. There are many other cheaper alternatives on the market. Although these cheaper versions of the product don’t offer the same features, compatibility, and sleekness of a 2017 MacBook Pro. In order for the mac book to get the elegant updated 2017 design, the designers decided to not add a disk drive to the product. One other annoying factor is that the New Mac Book is not compatible with Apples new headphones. Which have been out since November 2016, when the I-Phone 7 released. Overall: I Think the MacBook Pro is a well built, and well-designed product that really sticks out from the competition. I would 10/10 recommend anyone whom already owns an apple phone, too also purchase the MacBook Pro. The compatibility between the devices will help day to day life be more organized. The reason I gave the product only four stars was the issue with the headphone jack. One of the biggest pros of the owning a MacBook is the compatibility with the I-phone. In the future, I would hope to see them add another headphone jack that can be used with the apple headphones.

Be very careful buying used apple product from best buy...bestbuy sold me this laptop and the motherboard was crashing due to lack of technical checks....i had it for one day and almost got blamed for the damages!!!! Insane

I upgraded to the new MacBook Pro this one the load time was ridiculously slow

Apple is terrible. Unfortunately once you buy one, you became attached to their system forever that a change is painful and long. I dislike non-existing manuals and poor information online. Also it is not friendly and not easy to learn. Warranty is poor and always something doesn't work right.

I have had my MacBook since 2018 and it still runs great, with no issues. I even have the original charger still! For the convenience of all my devices being connected, I will never stray from MacBook. It’s totally worth the price and Best Buy offering the no interest option with their card is such a great option.

Its slim structure allows for great portability. Its core i5 processor is rather fast. The overall OS system works efficiently with 128 gigabytes. A great feature is a large trackpad which allows for shortcuts and efficiency. Overall, high-quality product and worth its cost.

It was a very good computer with great fast speeds. The battery life is good, and the display is amazing. It’s perfect.

It has been so long a time did I find out it is actually a 2017 version even though I bought it new in 2019. So disappointed...

The only reason I got this is for the free iMovie for my job. - requires you to buy accessories for SD cards and such. - software isn't as user friendy. - Hardware does not last long. - Really pricey.

After 2 years of use it stopped working. The screen shows a blinking question mark when i turn it on. I tried to do the recovery and its not finding the hard drive

Good build and works great. I only gave this rating because this computer is getting slower after a year of use.
