I love the apple products, traded in an older MacBook pro and an iPad for this new MacBook. Also received the student discount so it was an excellent deal. One drawback , I did not realize it does not have a USB port (had to go back to buy an adapter) and I miss the 'magnetic' connector when you plug in the charger. Otherwise it's fast, lightweight and overall an excellent purchase .

People buy Apple product for the build quality and to show it off to people. Not a powerful device for my needs unfortunately. Keyboard is terrible.

I had about two of these & I couldn't facetime on either one. I was very disappointed & this was my 1st apple experience.

Bought this MacBook Pro in 2017. Almost 10 years later and it’s still works! I have not had any problems with it and have continued to use it for school. Will definitely be upgrading as soon as this MacBook gives out.

I bought thinking it was the latest model but was sold a two year old version for the price of the latest one.

Great looking but had problems with WiFi and printer. Also when I open it the screen looks like when there is not cable

After spending quite a time reviewing the premium laptops both Windows and Apple, I finally decided to buy this MacBook Pro and I am quite happy with the purchase. 1) Durable, MacBook lasts for minimum of 5 years much longer than Windows based laptops. 2) Safe compared to Windows, no virus issues. 3) Sleek, light, good battery with the standard premium laptops configuration 4) Serves well to my needs. I need this to remote login my office, with web-browsing. 5) Portable very light, I can slip in my leather file holder. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Writing this review 6 years later, and it works like day 1, always had its case so it still looks and works like new. Battery life is excellent!

Love this computer! Not super tech savy but this laptop is great for remote work, school work, and personal use. I've this mac for almost 5 years now and it has never let me down! Still runs super strong.

I intend to bring back if i can.. Doesn't work properly and can't get ahold of anyone at store

I received this laptop as a gift my sophomore year of college after my Windows Laptop died, I was looking for something that would get me through school, and then some. I am on my 6th Year with the same Macbook Pro, and in that time I've done one clean install of OS X, and also had the battery replaced once. The only thing I would suggest is that if you're only going with 128gb of storage, invest in either some cloud storage, or an external drive to plug into if you're doing any type of media work - I attempted to transfer my iTunes library when I first got it, and immediately filled the hard drive, services like iCloud or Dropbox for Storage, or having your own Plex server are definitely something to consider
