It has a pretty impressive speed for a laptop and can be used for anything in general with that speed and processor is suited for any type of job and perform well enough.

I love my new computer, replaced the old 7 year old MacBook Pro. This is lighter weight and Best Buy was very generous with their buy back plan that I could undate the old one.

My last MacBook Pros screen went bad. Needless to say I had to have another one. Love it. My only complaint is the $20 cable you need to buy since there are no USB ports

My daughter used MACs for several years throughout MS & HS, so definitely wanted to have for college. Was excited with the improvements, but totally disappointed in the battery life of this model. Her HS computer would need to only be charged every other day (& it was used all day every school day). This one can't even get 5 hours before low battery.

Bought 2 of these and couldn't be happier! Screen is gorgeous, unit is very portable, typing is effortless and the trackpad is second to none. No surprise another amazing APPLE product.
