Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Apple MacBook Pro's ease of use, performance, lightweight design, and battery life, with many praising its size and aesthetics. However, customers are negative about the limited number of USB and other ports, as well as the small storage capacity. Some users also noted that the device can get warm during extended use. While a few found the touch bar unnecessary, the overall feedback highlights a strong preference for the laptop's portability and usability.

I have own a Mac Pro notebook prior to purchasing this one. This one is a smaller size and very portable. It is also a lot faster than my older model.

I bought this laptop as an upgrade from my old Asus that died out last year. The MacBook Pro is amazingly fast and smooth. Will take some time to learn MacOS if you've only used Windows, but I think it is very user friendly to get started. Connects to other apple devices you own so you can text from your laptop, or unlock the laptop with an Apple Watch. You do pay an Apple tax for it though. Not as much RAM or storage as you can get with a different brand of Windows-based latops for the same price.

This is my first Mac computer and I love it so much. It was more expensive than the one I was originally looking at but I believe this one is going to last me a lot longer. This is such clear screen and everything is so easy to use I love it.

I've been wanting a Mac for years and after my last computer bit the dust I decided to go for it. I love it so far although its a bit of an adjustment after only using PCs. The only downside is having to buy a separate piece for a usb port.

Considered several Apple notebooks including the MacBook Air before deciding to go with this Pro 13". Forget the Touch Bar (gimmick) the 13" without Touch Bar is the best value. A high end MacBook Air is still slower with an inferior screen.

The macbook pro may seem like an expensive buy, but its worth every cent. After being a life long windows user, and having to upgrade laptops every 2-3 years, I decided I was tired of wasting money, after seeing my brother had lasted since 2013 with his MacBook pro, I decided to make choice and buy the new model, and trust me the performance and work you get done on this machine is amazing! Being a photographer and using this as my main editing machine, has definitely been the best upgrade!

Great computer, being a lifetime windows user, I wasn’t sure how the transition would be. After watching the quick tutorial for new users to Mac, it was a piece of cake. Love my Mac!

this is my 5th macbook pro. I also have the iPad pro. These machines are the best of the best - I've never been let down and I use them hard. I sell them every few years online and get 500-700 back when sold. Very well worth the money.

The display is nice and sharp and the computer is very speedy with its fast solid state storage. The thermal management on this computer is pretty lacking, though. It does tend to get hot and spin up the fans noisily under workload, but nothing that wouldn't be expected out of an ultraportable.

This was a nice addition to my 2010 pro...I have to say addition because so far it hasn't quite replaced it. Don't get me wrong...I have no faults with it...its small...its light..it looks great. I wanted something smaller and lighter then my 2010...this is it. Before I even got the machine I bought a Sandisk external sdd because I wan't sure the 128gb drive would cut it. My only complaint would be that the keyboard and trackpad do not feel as quality as they do on my 2010. But I still like it..

We have bought 3 MacBook Pros over the last 9 years and we're very happy with them, they last a long time and performance never really goes down, we expect the same from this one. It's the only laptop we buy. Fully recommend it!!

I graduated high school back in 2011 and as a graduation gift before going off to college, I was given a Macbook Pro. I loved that thing and it never disappointed, whether it was the engineering coding program that it ran flawlessly or just typing a late night paper with the battery making it through the night. Unfortunately, the update in technology has taken a toll on the Macbook Pro and it had also been beaten up a bit on my end. I finally decided to upgrade and with Best Buy offering gift cards for the trade in of your old laptop, it was a no brainer at that point. Not to mention the geek squad support that is included. This computer is BEAUTIFUL! I didn't spring for the most expensive one because I do not need all of the storage, but I honestly can't even tell. The 13" screen seems bigger to be honest and when I play music just from the laptop it sounds phenomenal, not like a party kind of speaker, but for a couple of people out on the back patio, it does well. I have made the normal business documents, to facetime with family, to even play a couple of games and it does it all so flawlessly! I will say if an extra long battery life is your main thing and you are always on the go then I would tell you to go with the Macbook Air. The Pro does have a good battery life but if you are running any kind of demanding application I wouldn't count it lasting longer than a couple of hours. I recommend that you buy the USB-C to USB adapter because it only has the ports for the USB-C so if you have any devices that you used with any previous generation computer then chances are it was the normal USB connection and you will need to get an adapter. The macbook pro seems super light to me and very portable, but I would recommend some kind of case, because even though it is so pretty without one, it can be very prone to scratches. All in all, not disappointed at all and worth every penny! Oh and buy Applecare, I used to work at an electronics store and I saw way too many customers coming in after they broke their apple device and they didn't get applecare and the repairs always cost so much money when if they had only had applecare it would have been so easy and cheap! It is worth the piece of mind for such an expensive piece of equipment.

I love this new MacBook Pro, I traded in my 2009 MacBook Pro 13", it was still working fine after almost 10 years but it had become too slow and I wanted to upgrade to a newer machine. I've had very good experiences with MacBooks, my daughter is still using a 2011 Pro daily for school and it still runs great (has SSD hard drive). The 2017 model is a lot thinner, lighter, and faster. I expect to get many years of use out of this one too. The fit and finish is outstanding, it just feels and looks like a quality machine.

The performance on the computer is good, restarting is slow, if you compare it to the other windows 10 machines with similar specs, overall the performance and quality of the computer is good, we purchased the hard cover case
