Laptop is amazing super easy to use and runs program so quickly and efficiently

This laptop has a wonderful picture and convenient size. I love the keyboard and all of the extra items available for convenience such as the wireless mouse.

The computer is small and thin for ease of carrying. Battery last a long time.

Doing some research later on I found out that the new base model of MacBook is actually slower in processor speed than the previous version (Retina) and a lot of other useful features have been removed such as USB A, Mini Display port, Magsafe is no longer used to charge as this MacBook only comes with 2 USB C ports. If you need to charge you're left with one port, which you will likely need an adapter for since many devices connect through the old USB A port. So in summary if I need to charge my MacBook and want to use multiple USB devices I will need a USB C to USB A adapter, as well as a USB Hub to connect multiple devices. This forces you to carry around a lot of extra adapters.

I finally upgraded my old laptop, and this is so much faster and lighter!!

This is the second Mac book I've bought from Best buy. The first one lasted a long time and still works, my daughter wanted to upgrade so bought this one The first one will be handed down to my granddaughter. These last longer than any of the other laptop brands. Would be nice of it had usb port.

This is an amazing laptop. I was skeptical of getting this because Apple was upgrading their MacBook pros to the 8th gen Intel processors with 4 cores and this one only has the dual-core I5, the dual-core processor runs like a champ. Apple's optimization of their products is outstanding and it shows that they really maximize their products with the hardware. Great Job!

If you are a MacBook Pro enthusiast, this is a good choice. We only use Apple products at home, so this was a no-brainer for our highschool son who needed a new laptop for his homework. Has everything on it that he needs to get his work done. No complaints from him. Works like a champ, but it's an Apple, so it's guaranteed good.

Bought this computer for daughter to use in law school. It replaces a mac that was four+ years old that was starting to have issues. Of course she loves it.

This is my 4th MacBook Pro so I knew pretty much what to expect. Seamless experience if you’re in the Apple ecosystem. Works great with my AirPods and Apple TV. I was fortunate enough to snag this one a sale and paid about $300 less than what apple is charging for the same laptop! I use it mainly for photoshop/Lightroom editing as well as some work stuff. Hasn’t let me down yet.

Surprisingly, I am writing this review on the same MacBook that I purchased from Best Buy last Spring. I definitely recommend using MacBook over Windows. As a Computer Science major, Mac is great for running Java IDE and accessing terminal without installing PUTTY or etc. It was/is a bit pricy but that is fine if you have specific money saved for this MacBook
