Mac Book Pro

We considered Apple, Chrome and PC. Yes, the Apple is more expensive, so wait for sales, which do happen at Best Buy, COSTCO and other quality outlets. Why this Apple product? Very capable and productive. And yes, sexy!

MacBook Pro

I originally bought the laptop because I was going off to college but I’ve gotten so many uses out of it on top of my schoolwork. It handles everything from video editing to essays to normal uses flawlessly. I absolutely love this MacBook and definitely recommend it.

It’s not the greatest but commendable

It’s because it’s Apple the expectation is high performance. It’s pricey compared to other laptops. It is nothing special though compared to my other HP laptops which is touch screen and cheaper.

Three years marks a great difference

I thought I’d stick with the Air for much longer but I was blown away by the incredible performance, look and feel of this Pro. It plays stunning 4K footage and is complimented by amazing HDR audio. It is a bit in the pricey side but will last you a while which compensates the price tag.

Great replacement to stay in Apple ecosystem

I needed it as a replacement for another one I had for many years. It works as you’d expect to perform productivity related tasks like video editing. However once in a while it glitches and some apps become non responsive meaning that if you do not have cloud saving enabled, you may lose some data when for example writing a document on Words or Pages. Sometimes the keys do not work but it is fixable with a reboot of the machine. Overall after half a year of ownership, I give it 4 stars
