Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not an apple product lover, however I must say when it comes to their computers I would not change a thing. My laptop is about two years old and it still runs like new. I purchased a Mac desktop 11 years ago and it still runs like new. That's what made me get a Mac book. No issues not one.

I will recommend this product to all students that are in search of a reliable laptop.

Still the best option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not thrilled that you have to have an attachment to use USB ports, memory cards, CDs/DVDs or anything else useful. They've switched to a type c port so you have to buy (go figure) an adapter if you want to plug anything else into it. However, it's still wonderful and still the best option even with the inconvenience of adapters.

I used common applications and software like gmail, Microsoft 365, and OneDrive. I only had to download the major software once under the primary user, and it was then available for all users.

If only they weremt so pricey. Yoi can find a non apple laptop or pc that ia comparable in apeed and graphics and other hardware for less cost but if you know and love apple like i do then you stick to what you know.

She couldn't wait to get it set up and once that was complete, she's not put it down since. Applications are nice, graphics are awesome, a win win for all. As always Apple products are a cut above the rest. This was an excellent purchase with an excellent price! Thank you Best Buy!!

It took a little getting used to, but I am so glad I made the switch. My phone, watch, and tablet, all sync up with the MacBook Pro 2018, so I have seamless transitions when moving from phone to laptop for work, school, or even photos and music!
