Not so heavy. Has a great configuration. Good value for money. So far I am loving it. Especially, touch bar and touch id are great features.

Excellent buy for the money

She has always had an iMac desktop but she loves her laptop even more. It is lightweight and small enough to fit into her backpack. Plus, she can access it from anywhere.

Premium laptop even better now

I already own the previous version and just purchased this new one for my son to take to college. These are premium products, very well made with superior materials. The latest model is even thinner and lighter than the previous model and has the new swipe bar which acts as a shortcut for various features. My son was using this right away and found it very useful. We have not had a chance to use applications that would demonstrate the better performance but did notice that the sound from the speakers is much better. We looked at the other Apple laptops but settled on the Mac Book Pro because it is more sturdy than the other models and thought it would hold up better through college. Overall excellent!
