I never knew I needed the touchbar, but now that I have it I don’t know what I did without it. Fingerprint id on my Mac, yes please! The graphics are fantastic and this upgrade was just what I was looking for. I bought it as an open box item, and the discount is so worth it. Same warranty! Very happy with this purchase!

I have tried many laptops but none of them copare to this one. I bought it for my daughter since she’s being home schooled.

upgraded mid-2008 Macbook. Wow- this laptop is fast & light. Had to add external DVD Reader/Writer- no big deal. Touch bar is interesting to get used to using.

I've had it for about 3 months now and it's been great. I need to get used to the Command buttons but it gets the job done

I had to replace my MacBook Pro from 2009. As everyone has already mentioned, the keyboard is something to get use to. I love the look and slimmer profile. The space gray is very sleek. The Touch ID and bar is different so I’m getting use to that. Haven’t really used much. If your a fan and need a laptop I say get it.

The MacBook is everything I expected and was easy to start usiing except for email. I could not get charter.net to work and spent five hours on the phone as well as a trip to the Apple Store genius for another 90 minutes without any luck when they gave up. I noticed a checked box and was able to get email with some guess work.

I had a previous Mac and it has lasted for 8 years and this one is just as good and I am sure will last just as long!

I have been a windows lover for the last 27 years, and decided to give apple a shot. There was a little learning curve but I must say I am very pleased. The start up time is so much faster, the computer runs a lot smoother and faster. The one downside is accessories are a little pricey if you buy apple brand.

Highly recommend this computer for any music lover. Speakers are amazing and louder than previous laptops I’ve owned.

Apple makes great products, everyone knows that. This laptop does not disappoint. It’s easy to use Touch Bar adapts to specific application functions and also creates an easy navigation through the laptops operating system. Anyone looking for a product that will hold up to 10+ years of use get this Macbook.

So I purchased the 2017 model recently this week due to the sale they were having and immediately realized that the 2018 model was only $250 more. I returned it and figured for that much of a small difference the upgrade in power would be worth it. After getting home today and configuring the computer for about 30 minutes (downloading Office, playing music from Apple Music, stuffing the web, etc) I noticed that the chassis seemed a bit warm. As I reached up to the touch bar it was HOT. Not warm. I did some googling and apparently this is an issue not yet addressed by Apple. This overheating is supposedly causing the CPU to not even work at its fullest capacity and in turn run SLOWER than the 2017 model. What?! I don’t know what Apple plans on doing, but this is something I don’t expect from Apple. This is my 3rd Apple computer and admire their quality and reliability. However, if this isn’t resolved, I’m not sure how I will feel after. So, I’m giving this 3 starts because I really love the speakers, new display and how fast it is (until it gets hot). I have faith that Apple will correct this issue and it won’t be going on for much longer, but until then, it’s not getting the full 5 starts. I plan on updating this review once I get word of a fix and my computer has a chance to see if it corrects the issue. Until then, maybe hold off? Get the 2017 model if you need it now. The overheating is extremely concerning to me.

Touch ID and Touch bar is the real attraction for this model. But, one thing that I liked the most is the keyboard. The keyboard is really good as compared to Macbook Air. I have been using Macbook Air for almost 3 years now that I had purchased from Bestbuy and this is my second Mac product from Bestbuy.

I highly recommend this Apple MacBook Pro because it has helped me a lot in college. The Touch Bar adds more to laptop and stands out from other laptops out there. If you are looking for a good quality laptop, I recommend getting the MacBook Pro!

I have been using my MacBook Pro with Touch Bar for editing drone footage through iMovie and it has been working great. I did have a 2012 Mac mini and that was awesome as well but this is nice for the portability part. You won't be sorry of the purchase, they are worth the price and I see now they are $200 off.

My husband and sons all love their MacBook but I’m a PC user from way back. Got tired of always tweaking and fiddling with Windows 10 and bought a Mac. Is faster than expected. High quality, well built. Only downside is the light bar above the keyboard- still getting use to - doesn’t seem intuitive yet.

It's an apple product in which they never let you down . Very amazing and powerful laptop that is very reliable .

so this is the second computer i've ever purchased on my own. my first computer i was a freshman in college so it was a big deal. i had the dell touchscreen when they first came out and it did the job. after graduating college and moving towards grad school i gravitated to towards getting a macbook. i was very hesitant at first because i still think they're priced very expensively but you get what you pay for. from the moment i unboxed my macbook when i got home go buying my accessories for it because you willl need a usb-c adapter fyi it has been worth it. it's slim and light and does everything that i need it to do.
